3 straight chances with RISP and we go 0-3. Pray for our sanity if Alvarado comes in for the 9th

Yup could see this implosion coming. They had a million chances to blow the game open and Alvarado has been dog crap lately

Why they don’t just make Hoffman the closer I will never understand

Why they aren’t intentionally walking Cruz with first open and needing a double play makes no sense

Nice managing again Topper

And that’s a double play ball if you walked Cruz. The runner at first made no difference

Makes no Fing sense not to intentionally walk Cruz with runners and 2nd and 3rd and 1 out. Intentionally walk Cruz to help set up a potential double play to end the game. Instead pitches to Cruz who gets a run home and no outs recorded. Just absolutely dumb managing. The analytics say walk Cruz at that point cause runner at first doesn’t matter. setting up for a potential double play does.

also falls on continuously not hitting with RISP and the bullpen has been a bad since the marlins series outside of Hoffman and strahm. Everyone else it’s tight rope and hoping the hold on

Gee didn't see that coming

Wouldn’t be surprised if the pirates sweep the Phillies. They are playing well right now and this was their worst matchup against us. And Sanchez has been bad on the road and Phillips vs. Gonzales is not a great matchup for us

Pain

+400 for the Braves to win the division isn’t bad odds considering the Phillies have 7th hardest schedule and the Braves have the 28th. Feel like there’s a good chance this lead goes down to 2-3 at some point in August

I said it since they brought him back. He sucks at situational baseball. He will not get them a WS ring.

Either gonna reverse jinx this or I’m gonna win money.

Well between the last 3 games with the A's and Pittsburg and the upcoming schedule, definitely don't have the same warm and fuzzy feelings now!

Since that Rockies series in May they are only 25-21. Since the Mets London series they are 18-16. They have had injuries but really they have been a mediocre team for over a month but with some flashes here and there.

They need to trade for Lane Thomas. Absolutely perfect platoon for this outfield.

They are fortunate the braves have not played better

I guess it could be worse department

Really have. Braves are 24-24 since May 24th (start of Rockies series). Since the London series (June 8th) the Braves have had the same 18-16 mark

Arozerena is 3-4 with 2 HRs and 3 RBI today

correction 4-5 with 2 Hr and 3 rbi

The era without him since June 10 is 4.57. Prior to June 10 it was 2.93.

I would give up Aiden Miller+ in a trade to get Miller from the A’s. The reason is because he’s under team control for the next five years and he is young. Plus when this run ends and you go to trade him, his value is still gonna be really high so you’re likely going to get very good prospects back at that time. He’s a guy I would give up prospects for.
