August 17, 20242 yr At least they won. But this game has no business being close. Offense has to be better against a stiff in Corbin and the bullpen particularly estevez can’t be this garbage. Feels like every week someone in the bullpen implodes. At least Hoffman and strahm looked solid.

Can’t have two runners on every night. His last 4 appearances he’s given up 7 hits and 3ERs and 4 runs. I feel like every week someone new implodes and everyone else is ok. One week strahm. Hoffman and estevez are fine. Next week Hoffman is awful and strahm and estevez are fine. Now estevez sucks and Hoffman and strahm are fine.

I’d have preferred tanner scott for what they gave up. I do wonder if they would’ve gone all in on the A’s closer if he didn’t break his hand. They got estevez two days after that and 4 days before the deadline. Knowing the price was high for estevez and they paid that, I’m not convinced they wouldn’t have given up klassen, Abel and a top prospect like Caba for miller considering he was cheap for multiple more years. He injury basically made that unlikely as he is likely out 6 weeks and you couldn’t just have that be your move as you needed the help immediately

The fact that they also black out the Reds and Orioles games is just piling on… (on mlb.tv)

I’m probably the only dope that still has Spectrum, so I can at least see all the Braves matchups. I thought I saw a few Pirates games on mlb.tv this year though? Maybe not?

I switched to Hulu tv the other week so now i can’t get dbacks or padres games unless i illegal stream it. It’s ridiculous
