Thomson doing this all year might ultimately bite the Phillies in the ass. In a tight race for the 1 and 2 seed. At bats here and there with guys like realmuto, Harper and others on the bench could be the difference in some of these games and potentially the race. If they wind up being the 3 seed by a game or two can look back at opportunities we didn’t give ourselves

Yeah i kind of think the same. The bullpen the 2 of the last 3 days didn’t look good. The bats also didn’t look great 2 of the last 3 games either. They just can’t get enough consistency with their hitting and the bullpen every week is someone new imploding

When Topper didnt pinch hit for Cal, I knew he didn’t care about winning this game today, any other manager would have done something to try and bring your team back but Topper just said F it let’s go to Atlanta.
