He’s been hitting 91-93 consistently today when he needs too. His velocity isn’t the problem. Like that strikeout just now he got him on 93 which is his norm. Problem is his command is not where it was earlier in the season.

also think His back or oblique is bothering him. He’s trying to stretch it out after that last strikeout

Yeah, I'm not watching live unless I get lucky with my cable feed.  They do a game or two a day. I'll probably buy a month of MLB international stream just as they hit the playoffs.  I did that back in the '08 year and was able to watch a few games live in the middle of the night OR get up early and see them delayed a few hours.

Almost impossible to not get bye

been saying it for the last 3 years this team needs a good bullpen, i dont care how much hitting you have, if you dont have a good bullpen/pitching, you are not going to win a world series, the losing streak pretty much revealed the issues with this roster and yet some fans, media, and fo is still ignoring it and we havent won jack.

When I saw Ryan Howard in that video the first thing I said was "does he strike out?” And you bet your sweet diddly he did. Never change Ryan

Of course

NL East and i believe if the dbacks hold on against the brewers the bye magic number down to 1.

Had a feeling when i saw the brewers down 8-2 and starting to get going they’d come back. Dbacks bullpen imploded

Awesome guys can’t hit worth crap again.

Nope they just can’t hit again

Yup 2 run game from wheeler and they can't buy a hit

JT swinging at a 3-1 pitch 2 feet off the plate

And there's another strikeout swinging at a pitch not even close

Like I’ve been saying they don’t win a title it’s not going to be due to pitching. Their offense is just not as good as the numbers indicate. They are skewed cause they’ll be hit for 2 maybe 3 games then go cold for like a week

They are the same fakes as the last two years. Expect the same damn thing to happen. Pisses me off. Sooner they get exposed in the playoffs the better for our wellbeing.

RISP for the last 3 months against current playoff teams has been poor. 79-333 (.238). (Since beginning of August .240 (56-233)). Since the Houston series they’ve been even worse than that vs current playoff teams with RISP: 21-98 (.214).

That sucked

Still think they lose in the NLDS. I think their pitching will hold up well. I think their hitting is just way too inconsistent.

I don’t know what the padres odds are to win the NL but they feel like a good bet right now. Arguably at the deadline they constructed one of if not the best bullpens with their acquisitions. Have cease. But getting back darvish late in the year helps. And king has been good. They have the 4th best ERA since July 1st and the 6th best offenses over that time. Since August they have the 2nd best era and 5th best offense
