Like i said doesn't matter what nola does if they cant hit

They lost the game as soon as Harper and Castellanos screwed the pooch. That changed the momentum. Had manaea and Mets in a position to change the tide.

frankly i think they get blasted tomorrow.

At this rate Manaea might throw a complete game. Phils offense is back to being a joke taking no fn pitches and swinging at garbage

Harper disappeared end of World Series, end of NLCS and now

That is who they are. It's a shame they won because it covered flaws

It’s their 5-9 spots are chasing crap and giving crap at bats. 5-9 has had 10 PA and they have seen 35 pitches.

People thought game 2 "woke up the Phillies" but if you follow this team you know they do this stuff all the time. Especially since the all star break. The offense will suck for like 4 straight games, then they'll break out for like 9 runs, people will be like "Finally! The bats woke up!" then they proceed to score 1 run on 3 hits. This offense will never be consistent as long as they have terrible ABs. And they will always be an offense that struggles to score without the long ball since they're a free swinging team.

This team went really far in 2022 with home runs, but it was unsustainable. As we've seen since then. This team can't manufacture offense on a consistent basis.

I hope the front office realizes this and doesn't live in denial and guts the lineup in the offseason. Like they should've done last year.

Alvarado is breathing so heavy he looks like he's going to pass out

They are stuck with bad contracts

They are stuck with Turner. They could eat Castellanos if the owner wants to win as much as he says he does. Btw I was the only person who hated the Turner signing. Granted, I used hyperbole to make my point, but the overall point that you sign a clearly declining player to 11 years was absurd then and absurd now.

At least 3 of: Stott, Bohm, Castellanos, Rojas, Marsh have to go. If not 4 of them.

F u turner

Hate to tell you this but the Harper contract is a bad contract also they would have to spend another 60 million to improve the team with free agents. Marsh and bohm should go along with Hayes

lol at blaming Turner. He’s one of 2 guys who has a hit tonight and he took a walk. Literally this series he’s hitting .300 with a .417 OBP and 2 SB. He was bad game 1 but far from their issues the last two games. The bigger issue is they need a cleanup hitter and marsh, realmuto, hays, Sosa and Bohm have been pretty much useless this series. Add on bullpen

They don't have a choice but to go all in on Soto. He's always wanted to reunite with Turner, Harper, Kevin Long, and he's by far the most impactful bat that fills what they need in terms of style and position(outfield). They will be in the mix, does Middleton have one last mega deal up his sleeve.

Long term and maybe not so long term that contract is an anchor that weighs them down

This bullpen with 2 outs is a disaster

You know my irrational hate for Turner lol. Mine was directed at not fielding that throw from jt, not hitting

Let’s see if Zimmerman is available too.

Eh if hes gonna hit .300 and give me .417 OBP in playoff series I’m not going off on him. They have bigger issues such has realmuto has 0 hits. Hays is garbage. Marsh is 0 for the series. Bohm has been bad since late June. The bullpen can’t do anything right.

Nothing like bringing in Jose Ruiz with your season on the line lol

Disgrace
