I agree with UndyTaker.  As much as we would hate it, that is what they will do.

I could see them doing it if he’s the best player available there. That said i tend to think that saints pick might be a trade back depending on where it falls. If it’s top 5 i think we use it. If not i think there’s a good chance we trade back unless some pass rusher we love falls

Getting ready to walk out the door to head to the stadium. Same thing I said five years ago....when I get home, I'm either going to be really depressed or extremely jubilant. Later gents.

Lets start the "Will Anderson is putting off surgery and likes meth" rumors now so that he drops into our hands

Man…you sound so confident typing this out. It’s completely wrong but at least you sounded very confident.

I am still very confident in this team.  I’m not happy we lost to Dallas, but they clearly were the more desperate team and still almost lost to our backup.  They needed a lot to go their way for that 6 point win.  It’s a different game next time with Hurts playing…and in Philly

I don’t get the doom and gloom I see from some others.  I don’t feel that way at all

Lito Sheppard was the Eagles 1st round pick, 26th overall, in 2002.  Since then it's been trenches or WR every single season with the exception of Carson Wentz in 2016.

For folks wanting a CB or S in the first round -- I suppose it has to happen sometime -- but the odds are not in favor.

You have got to be kidding

The Dallas Cowboys were in the market for Odell Beckham Jr., but they may go another, much older route (no pun intended) in the receiver market.

The agent of NFL Hall of Famer Terrell Owens, who played for Dallas from 2006-08, has been in "constant communication" with the Cowboys regarding a possible return, according to Sports Illustrated.

They would stand to save $40M ($32.9M + $7.5M) if they cut him before February 15, 2023.  If he's injured before then the Raiders are on the hook for it, I believe.  Once the organization makes the decision he's not the future it's an easy move to make.

Now the next question becomes -- when do they fire McDaniels??

This is so amusing.

4for4 still dancing around the Blog posting a "confused" emoji on everyone's posts.

We should have a little Collective Intervention, maybe help him with his confusion.

It ain't that hard, dude.

Something to say? Go ahead and say it.

Nobody will see it, tho, well maybe 4 guys.. you rate...:peng::peng:

41st ranked player at pick 6, and there was just not value at any other position, and as you saw last weekend and against Washington, we really do need a functional 3rd WR.

Wanted a corner, but the best one on the board at pick 63 was 70th ranked, 5'9" slot corner Tre'Vius Hodges-Tomlinson

If he got all the fans to sign up for the cashapp and get his 5 dollar reward, that may pay for it.

Yup.

Never had the last key elements of a Reliable NFL QB.

Feel for the Game...

See Andy Dalton, Sunday...

Still payin Gruden, isn't he?

Love this guy's process...

Whoever is filling in on WIP right now, talking about the following playoff scenario, could you imagine.

Divisional Round - Carson Wentz returns to The Linc, finally, when the Eagles host the Commanders.

NFCCG - Eagles host the Dallas Cowboys

Super Bowl - Eagles play former coach Andy Reid and the Chiefs.

We had them down 10-0 and had Dak in the grasp (great play by Dak).

We held them to negligible rushing (so much better against the run and that will pay dividends in the playoffs)

We had 3 stupid TOs.  Sanders was nothing stupid; just a good punch out while he was wriggling for more.  WHY is our 3rd RB even touching the ball on the other fumble?

The 3rd and 30 was inexcusable.  Sticks or blitz but WTF was that?

Missing key personnel. On the road.

And still we were in position to win it.

Sucks to lose but we are in a pretty good place for the playoffs.  QB 1 coming back. CJG is coming back.  Lane will try and find a way to play.

Home game against NO to clinch and improve our top 10 (or very close) FIRST ROUND draft pick. No way we drop this game.

To spare us the agony of Quez Watkins' fumbles.

Week to week, game to game.

2 or three plays last week, whole different discussion.

Nobody will forgive 3rd and 30 when not using a sticks D, however, the game shouldn't have turned on that play in the first place.

Shoulda beat em goin away. Maddox gets him to the ground, it's over.

The only WR I'd draft in round 2 would be Desean Jackson / Ty Hill 2.0.

A guy that is an elite vertical threat and deadly with a sliver of space underneath.

Our WR bubble screens, screen passes, jet sweeps...anything at the LOS with our WRs (and RBs) is consistently a failure.  That's inexcusable with the mobility of this OL.  Goedert is the only one that makes something of it.

If someone like that is available, sure, it might take the offense to still new heights.  Otherwise, I don't think we need anything we don't have at WR.

Thanks e-e.

I read that 3 times and it looks like about a 50% Roster turnover. Mostly on D, No?

That's a ton for a Playoff team, not to mention a League-leading one.

Reading tea leaves, New Rb, draft the D line guys, get an O Lineman or two Stout likes,

...a Slot DB and some Linebacker help, Pass Rusher or two wouldn't suck...

Did I miss anything? LOL. Always the same tho. more holes than replacements.

The Roster is aging, Graham and Cox probably gone, etc... still a strong core, No?

I think you got to find two outside corners. I’d extend Bradbury but i think he’s gonna test free agency as it’s likely his last big payday and someone will after this year. Slay is 32. So long term we have mcphearson and jobe. I like jobe but who knows.

slot corner they are fine cause they paid maddox. Basically stuck with him until the contract runs out or makes it not as big if dead money hit.

i forgot about reddick he’s gone be there with sweat. Still could use a DE/pass rusher and depth. DT really need another starter/depth.

Linebacker they have Dean. I do think white or edwards is back  so could use some young talent and depth.

Long term i think you are looking at 2 starters along DL, a starting Lb, depth behind starting linebackers, 2 starting outside corners, possibly 1 starting safety and depth in secondary

Ironically, the guy I picked in that mock does well on the bubble screen

Corner i think they would take. Like if sauce or Lattimore in those years fell to them. But i don’t remotely see safety ever being taken in the first round by them. Like RB and LB they’ll never do it. Second round i can totally see

Corner is a HUGE need. I'm convinced they were going to take Tariq Woolen last year, but he was picked right in front of them and then they traded back. That would have been nuce,

Bradley is likely gone. Slay is getting up there. Maddox is often injured.

If CJGJ leaves in FA then safety is up there too as Epps is also a FA. I’d ideally love to bring back CJGJ, hargrave and Bradbury. But i think 1 is gone at minimum and there’s a decent chance 2 of 3 are gone.
