Tbh the only team mentioned that does is GS if they are willing to give up 11 and butler (expiring contract) and going in for Kawhi as last ditch chance for Steph to end his career on a high note. Miami has pick 13 and Herro as an expiring but it’s Hard to make the $ work. Can do it but don’t think Miami wants to give up the pick especially when they got Money expiring after 26-27. Essentially they’d get a better player in Kawhi but give up a pick and have money coming off in the 27 offseason anyway

Part of me wonders if that was put out cause it’s believed the clips would do it if it meant getting either their 2029 swap back or pick back in 2028 for that deal.

100% we’d have to give the clips back their 2028 first or 2029 pick swap for that trade to happen

Part of me, wonders whether or not they trade that pick. It kind of reminds me of when we traded the 2021 Miami pick for Tobias Harris. And we all thought that pick was eventually gonna be really good. And it wound up being 18th and not as good as we thought. The clippers have garland, Mathurin and the fifth pick this year that they’re gonna build around. But in 2027 off-season they have a bunch of cap space and supposedly they are preparing to go after a big fish and build the team around that piece too. So I am guessing they are gonna go in on signing at least a star player that is available or try to acquire a star player that is available. So there’s a good chance that that pick falls outside of the lottery and it’s not nearly as valuable as we think. i do wonder if they can somehow get off Joel Embiid‘s contract by giving up that pick and that’s the only first you have to if they consider making it.

I hated him at asu as an Arizona alum. He’s a loser type player he has a bunch of stats but he’s never winning anything.

I've never seen a player as bad as he is in big games or down the stretch of big games he is awful. I've always hated that a-hole. Kobe is laughing somewhere saying "I told you so" because he said it too that you are not winning anything with Harden.

Tobias also knocked it out of the park with 6 points and 5 boards

Least shocking is that Tobias Harris no showing for the pistons in game 7 (really bad last 4 games of their season). 5 points and 0 made field goals in a game 7. Game 6 wasn’t much better. Last 4 games of the series he shot 14-49 (28.6%) and 3-16 from 3 (18.8%).

Harden and Harris went off for a combined 14 points on 2-16 from the floor and 0-8 from 3! They also played a combined 49 minutes!

It's not like this decision to move on was a surprise to them.

They should have a very short, ranked list of candidates.

Work fast and discreetly. Identify who actually wants to come to this dysfunctional organization.

Lay the ground work this week, going into the holiday weekend.

An announcement in early June, one week after Memorial Day.

We need the GM in place for trades and scouting well before the draft.

Combine already happened too. Draft is about a month away.

I am in the Bahamas. I saw a guy on a yacht holding a fishing rod but he wouldn't cast it in to the ocean. It was like he was afraid to. I bet that was Ben Simmons.

Harden is one of the most unclutch players of all time. It’s figures Morey was in love with this guy.

Cavs put the ball in harden’s hands instead of mitchell’s on that last possession of regulation….their coach should be fired immediately.

Its a lesson to be learned for the 6ers that wont be.

Mitchell has proved to be a star already, but he defers to the old head.

Maxey hasnt has his opportunity yet because he defers to the old heads that Morey always brings in, and especially Embiid.

Maxey needs the keys fully before you decide if you want to trade him.
