I’d feel bad for him except he had a chance to avoid playing for the raiders and he decided he wanted to play with his friend Derek carr. He somehow expected Derek carr to be good enough to win a title? Lol.

I'm also going to acknowledge that I saw Gannon blitzing yesterday... like wtf.

He's the executive - he hired/delegated that job to Rallis to be imaginative.

Did someone fail to tell him that Carr played for the Saints?

I get the sense from your comment above that you don't go to fantasy movies or read fantasy books.  Lot's of people look at entertainment as an opportunity to spend some time living as a different person than they are in their day in, day out existence. There is a whole lot of escapism that is part of human existence.  Timothy Leary promoted LSD as a way to escape.  Edgar Rice Burroughs gave us Tarzan as a vehicle to escape. George Lucas brought us Star Wars.  Gene Roddenbery brought us Star Trek.  JFK and Jackie were the vehicle for escapism in their time. Some entertainers like James Dean and Marlon Brando play the role of rebel.  Swift plays the role of the anti-rebel.

All entertainers manipulate their audience.  That is the very essence of entertainment.

Not too much time- no. I dont watch much TV, nor movies....   when I read, it is to gain knowledge.

I just do not understand the over the top idolization. As a musician of 40+ years, I can be extremely impressed with someones musical creations, and have utmost respect for their ability, their craft, and yet not be mezmerised by their existence.  I dont need feel any need to idolize them, let alone pay exuberant amounts of $$ to sit in nose bleed sections of a venue to watch a large monitor of them performing (only half live these days)  or do not care to know any intimate details of their life, I find stuff like that a complete waste of my time and or money. (and there are literally entertainment companies built to just spread gossip info ) Same type of people who have accounts on Only fans .....

Since I do not think this way, it seems very odd to me when I see people who do act this way...   to each their own I guess.

All entertainers manipulate their audience.  That is the very essence of entertainment.  Maybe why I dont idolize them? I like genuine honest people- not fake people.

He went there when carr was there. thinking he and him would win. Then carr and the raiders stunk and the raiders got rid of him. He really only has himself to blame for his situation. The raiders were already contemplating getting rid of carr when he was dealt there.

Bradberry in the slot always made the most sense. I do worry about him holding up in the run game. I never found him to be the most willing/physical tackler. No idea if he can blitz.

Not a fan of Bradberry playing the slot

With our front I invite the run... less passes to Evans/Godwin.

Tampa's run game stinks too. Anytime they decide to run is a good thing.

Must be pretty grim.

Yes- never said she didn't.  It's the wearing what ever jersey I am in the town of that is contrived and manipulative. It's fake. If she now wears a KC jersey I have no problem with any of that.

I think you put too much emphasis on fake.

Star Wars is fake

Star Trek is fake

Marvel comics are fake

I Left My Heart In San Francisco is fake.

The list is endless.

Second of all, Star Wars is a documentary of events that happened a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away.   Those movies are 'historical documents'.  There was a glitch in their technology which caused the 4th - 6th episodes to be transmitted years earlier than the origin story, but it is not 'fake'.

Ahh... gotcha. Well... at least he can stay home to watch the Super Bowl this year and the Usher halftime show for whatever reason that came to be.

Won't be shocked if the passing offense doesn't light it up again tonight. The thing is, in a vacuum, against a tough defense on the road I don't think people would panic if the offense doesn't light it up in this game. Unless of course it's just like a putrid performance where Hurts throws 3 picks or something and they get shutout. But because of the first two games, if the offense isn't dynamic tonight people will overrate the significance rather than just evaluating this game individually.

Now on the flip side, this is one of those games where if the offense does light it up, it's like ok this team is back full throttle. I don't expect them to though. I'm going to be more focused on the defense. A Super Bowl caliber defense doesn't get lit up tonight. Not saying they have to shut the Bucs out, but if they can't get to Baker and can't hold them around 20 points, something is wrong. Their offense on most metrics have been pretty bad.

Less than 20 hours until Kickoff.  If the Eagles take care of business they are in sole possession of 1st place in the NFCE.

With that as context, there are 69 score predictions recorded.  65 predicting an Eagles win and 4 predicting a Bucs win.  The average predicted score continues to be Eagles 29 Bucs 20.  The median predicted score is Eagles 30 Bucs 17.

Eagles 27

Bucs 10

Hurts "lights it up" with 3 pass tds.  Sweat, BG and Carter each get a sack

The end of that game was like the dumbest Fing thing I've ever seen, you have a four point lead inside the 2 minute warning and you go for it on 4th down on your own 24 yard line????  It's like Staley wants to be fired, and then the Vikings try to one up that by getting goal to go and just wandering about getting set up as if they're trying to run the clock down so they only get one shot.

Just a bizarre sequence.

I was chasing after a hyperactive toddler when it went down, so I missed it live.  But hearing schmoopie laugh-yell "What the F are you doing", I had a pretty good idea.  Cousin's Cousin'd.

Still not as dumb as this:

Would prefer Goodrich honestly.  Not sure Bradberry’s game transitions to the slot well

Is their pass D that tough? They played the Vikings who put up like 350 passing and the Bears.

Staley a defensive HC. Kellen Moore is the playcaller
