The demand for the streaming service is likely so low - they need anything with broad appeal.

I cannot believe this game isnt televised. How many people are really signing up for a streaming service to watch a couple 9am football games? I sure wont be.

The ratings on these games has to to be abysmal wouldnt you think?

Can't you watch the game locally if you are in the Jacksonville or Atlanta area anyway? But I guess it's the same with NFL Network. They keep putting exclusive games on there too.

Ratings matter for ads. If less people watch, but those who watch pay to watch, then ESPN comes out ahead.

This is where sports is going. It's already happened to soccer.

Missed opportunity - probably a good ratings get as folks put JAX-ATL on as alternative background noise compared to the pre-games shows… not enough interest to actually sign up and pay📉.

Yeah... I feel like people are busy on sunday mornings too. You gotta get ready for the main slate. Some people might be going to church. Some people might be getting some yard work done, or other household chores. A ton more people are preparing their sunday meals, whether thats some formal family get together, or a gameday feast of pizza and other bar food type delicacies. All that stuff happens in the mornings before the 1pm games begin.

These 9am games are just that- background noise. If you even have time to put it on at all. Who the hell is signing up to pay for that? I like pre-game shows as background noise. Occasionally even hear about the eagles during them. ESPN is talking about Jalen Carter right now.

i’m usually on the lake this time on Sunday morning but i’m watching the grandson today. my son hooked me up with the game. 👍
