March 10, 20251 yr It's all about the money. Salary cap and teams losing guys and stealing guys. A group of players enter into the comp pick formula. Players whose contracts run out. That list is already predetermined and can only be shrunk if players resign. Once we get to Wednesday the list can't be expanded due to cuts, only gets smaller if players resign. Then it expires at some point where it's deemed every team had enough opportunity to out bid the original team. Now they just want the league to sign these players and not leave them without a team.

Oh it doesn't count for this team...but it counts for the other team? You don't see where it's not logical?

What does concern me is: I was telling BG bad info. For that I am sorry for being incorrect BG.
March 10, 20251 yr Just saw it as going to reward teams that lost more than they gained. For you the sky is falling because I forgot that intricate little detail about this. All these years you focused more on that guy got cut..so he doesn’t count against the comp pick formula. I was more focused on : I really love that Larry Fitzgerald…would trade up to draft him. Real high on DeAndre Hopkins in the second round. This small school kid Quinyon Mitchell is going to be special CB. Jayden Daniels is going to be a heck of a player. This and that vet pro players I’d sign or trade for because they are really good…these others are overrated..or don’t fit our team. You know…all the stuff you tend to miss…the stuff about playing football.

I lost interest when they named " co- national champions" back in the early 90s. Just don't have the time to watch on Saturdays, and really don't like the amateur rules. I like NFL football. Since it went to salary cap 30 years ago, I started following the business side, because of how it became a major factor if not the biggest factor in team success. But I suggest if you care more about an NFL team... to learn some of the basic NFL rules that surround salary cap, comp picks and anything that can effect how a team can acquire a player.

Do you think the Missouri WR is a legit option with our first pick? Are you surprised Maddox had a high rating when his snaps decreased to the point where he was basically put in more specialized situations? I think Dejean taking on the more difficult assignments really helped Maddox Speaking of Dejean, do you think they are considering moving him to the outside? I prefer keeping him inside, using all his versatility and skills. Plus I think he cam cover anyone. My favorite play from him this year was stopping Chase on the 4th and 1. Easy argument that Chase is the best WR in the league and the reverse motion is a lot of ground to cover, the degree of difficulty and DeJean made that play look so easy. Let's talk football!

CGJ then immediately responded with a few tweets. And the media jumped on it ...2 days at least.... this was AJ responding to all that talk
March 10, 20251 yr For 2 days " can Slay come back now and play with CGJ " the annoying stuff I can't stand about the media and their drama narratives. AJ was spot on.

I have no clue just seen some "sports media experts" saying that we could be looking to move Geodart in a trade not saying it will happen just giving the info. Again my thoughts were Geodart final season and we draft a guy to be behind him a year.... Similar to how we did Celek-Ertz Ertz-Geodart
March 10, 20251 yr Carlton Davis to NE for 3 years $60 mil Dan Moore to Tennessee for 4 years $82 mil Some big contracts there... not sure we will be looking at 3rd round comp picks, but who knows. Reddick signed 1 year $14 mil... another prove it deal lol. At least he has the Temple connection there.
