English please, no Hamityvillian. Nobody has a clue what this means

Actually I understood it, and it is text book evidence that Ham only considers less than half of a football game in his assessments.

Taking a terrible HC job more likely to kill future opportunities earning. Waiting a year for a better job at half the pay could be viewed as the best chance of career success along with the money.

Look at Siri…hired cheap. Now going to reap crazy mad loot.

That isn’t a doubt. That is a near certainty, supported by copious data.

The game lasts 60 minutes. You choose to look at only half of that … or should I say obsess on that half. In the history of the NFL arguably the two best players of all time are Lawrence Taylor and Reggie White. Give a little love to the Defense … if you can.

(1) What OC candidates did you have in mind? and (2) did you really expect Moore, who was being paid somewhere in the vicinity of $2 million per year to turn down a job that has been reported to be paying him $18 million per year. The $16 million per year difference is a terrible thing to waste.

Again, who would you have preferred, and why that person?

Step into that small confessional, where a guy who’s got religion will tell you if your doubts original. If it is try playing it safer. Drink the wine and chew the wafer. 2 4 6 8 time to transabstantiate.

Sin and conjecture

Opinion

Let’s revisit this in January. It will be interesting to assess how good a prognosticator you are. Until then … Go Birds!

But yes admittedly based on my own opinions. In my head? I feel like I’m right. But I’m not just throwing out these opinions based on emotional or other reasoning. I’m formulating educated assumptions and conclusions based on what has occurred. Frankly I can’t understand any other conclusion being reached here.

There is no W for first 1/4 scoring, what concerns me is when the 4th 1/4 clock hits 0:00 and EVERYONE on here has tried to explain to you what you cannot grasp as to what is occurring because you can't get the blinders unglued from your head

Exactly. If wins and losses revolved around scripted gameplans we would be the worst team in the league. Pure proof of how this whole time everyone has been overcoming Siri X and O weakness to achieve.

Are you so dead set stuck on roster talent is all that matters? Fangio was just along for the ride is your take?

Please do us all a favor and tell us who you are talking to … or are you talking to yourself?

LMAO when I said "my goal is 31 PPG" you said "that's impossible and can't be done" (No we still haven't hit my goal)

First. You didn’t say that. My whole stickler surrounded that you didn’t define it as a goal. Goal I never would have responded against even. Problem being you always placed near everything so heavily on stats. But your original statement wasn’t a goal of 31 points…that one word addition completely changed your original statement. Goal is fine…whatever. My whole point was always about winning. I differed over putting up any certain stat as defining. More points than the other guy. Win. Which 31 points can go a long ways towards accomplishing. But…a couple minutes left leading…kill the clock…take a knee…ice the win. Don’t chase scoring 31 points or scoring as much as possible to give the opponent a chance to come back.

You didn’t say goal…I didn’t say impossible to score 31. I pointed out how EXPE TACTIONS or being disappointed of failure not being the highest scoring basically just wasn’t super realistic expectation. Different than goal…your adjustment to goal since ..just proving my original point is all.

Who I would have preferred for our O is the best O mind we could get. Basic expectation all Eagles fans should deserve. It’s to such levels for us Eagles fans that I’m just beyond daring to even just consider this.

MattyWill we will revisit on this opinion. Thing is…we already have been for years. Track record at this point is significant. Plenty enough sample size to form an opinion.

Well used to be so many more people involved in this discussion. Yet I’ve remained. But throw out Eagles related discussion towards any wish to reply. I do read and respond to most anything shared here too.

But good question I don’t really have a good answer for.

Scripts are different from game plans. Scripts have limited duration … a maximum of between 10 and 20 plays. The Eagles win in the Super Bowls took place in 150 plays and 134 plays respectively. That makes the script less than 15% of the game. In some cases less than 7% of the game. You don’t win or lose a game due to the number of points you earn in the scripted plays, but you do win or lose the game by what you learn or fail to learn about your opponent in those scripted plays.

I should get a life I suppose. Or at least get out of sticking to this spot to discuss Eagles with knowledge fans.

Who is an example of that "best O mind”? Are you afraid to provide a name or two?

There you go again with those pejorative cutsie names. So it is back to Monsieur Croque for you.

You kind of technically right…but the script is pretty much the gameplan in reality. You can’t gameplan for your in game adjustments you’ll need after results of live real action. Arguable the effects of scoring a TD to begin games. Plenty of games that actually is huge. Decades ago with less scoring it played an even larger role. Plenty of examples still though. A matchup with an O that will struggle that day getting 7 to start can go a real long ways. Has been exactly difference making. Kick some field goals and rely on D making plays can carry the day/

You haven’t responded with a single named example yet. Are you a pathological liar?

Good advice.

Scoring 7 first drive or two also keeps you from facing a huge blowout disadvantage situations. You get down by enough points forces you to change your whole game plan and strategy. Scoring 7 first drive backed up by other first half scoring can create a lead you just need to milk for the win also. Our team absolutely put maximum pressure on teams if we had any lead the later the game wore on. We had no issues killing clock power rushing. Down just one point to us in the fourth with five minutes to go and we had the ball was terrible place for others to be. They all realized it too. If not for the bonehead playcall by Siri and Saquan drop it was a defining charastic the whole season.

Ok…I resisted showing such grace against you calling me stupid concerning my undeniably correct proven factual rebuttal to your beyond simplistic terrible shared opinion about each win being equal. I mean that was just pathetic…every single thing revolving around the NFL pointing towards how the whole league design doesn’t support that thought at all. But pathological liar is just some guy only talks tough running his mouth because he’s safe hidden away on the internet. Doesn’t even apply to anything in the first place. Purely just you trying to be nasty and hurtful.

Prove you aren’t just some weasel hiding talking tough only on the internet. Give and address or time and place to meet …say that to my face. You have no reason to respond calling me a pathological liar. I answered you…not a single shred of reasoning to think I believe otherwise about Patullo and Siri running the O.

But you’ve earned me understanding you are a weak zero backbone talk tough as long as you are sure you won’t have to face any consequences of your behavior.

This is your response? Really? The 25 year old QB you look to for the football and knowledge before…or over the guy hired to run his O? Main whole takeaway actually being how many years does it take for a player to learn the correct counter and answers under coaching that doesn’t have that to supply?

So every year he needs to be retaught how to change play calls? Really, this is your response? They learn this in Peewees, please stop the coddling

Still no name(s) provided when asked by multiple people many times. So your ststement, "I do read and respond to most anything shared here too” is untruthful … a lie. Repeatedly telling a lie makes you a ______.

Feel free to fill in the blank.

They haven’t. Rosie made a decision counter to what most would do after signing the franchise QB in Wentz….he drafted Hurts. We enjoyed Qb leader that steps up rising to the big games on and off the field. They fell victim to QB faltering at the worst times. Failure by Lynch as a GM. Just obviously. But still for the Niners to have so consistently done so well with crap QB play can only be proof surrounding fantastic coaching. Most all history of the NFL winning and success tied to having a QB. He’s taken garbage that choked at the worst possible moments…to so much success. Garrapolo widely known as turning the ball over exactly at the worst times. That’s his signature. Nothing ANY coach can do to overcome that. Heck…Garrapolo besides that fatal flaw never was very good anyway. Shannahan made him that. Not just Garrapolo. He’s coached up every QB around him. Schemed players open. Studied opponents identifying a script to successfully work.

Back to the agenda, his subject matter never changes
