Most of the people on this EMB are not trying to inflate their egos with "Look at me, I’m right!” posts. Rather they are looking for a respectful back and forth dialogue with a bit of humor thrown in. If they wanted to be lectured and talked down to they could go to college.

I sure am not perfectly clear of getting my thoughts out plenty. If nothing else at times I have to take the long winded approach lacking precision and skill to be more concise.

But so many ways it isn’t everything. Oline give me five guys that work together seamlessly better than five top athletes not working together. Give me a Secondary of average pros working together as one…over the best athletes playing only as individuals. In our case…take as talented players as you wish running a bad scripted gameplan and not ready to play to start each game….proved to be the worst scoring O league wide first quarter of games.

Then I had to explain to you what a goal was LMAO7 games Hurts passed 24 or less times...they scored 210..that's 30... basically one TD away. The two games he didn't play....they scored 74... 37 per. 284 / 9 = 31.55 there it us.Obviously when they make Hurts throw 25 times or more...those 7 games at 22.4 per game really brought the average down.

Me either, we can comment on them, but it's useless to keep on and on and on. Putullo is our OC, wish him well and Fly Eagles Fly. If no one was ever given a chance there would be no HC's in footballDifference being Rosie fired Pedey for attempting similar. Siri just struck at the perfect time nothing Rosie could do to stop him. Last offseason most would have fired Siri. He had very little power being HC. Laughable No Mas even considered thinking Siri hired his competition on as OC. Siri stripped of power after arguably worst collapse in NFL history(not injury related). Rosie clearly close to choosing Moore for HC job if Siri didn’t have those strong coordinators carrying him. Rosie so clearly loved Gannon. Last offseason Siri was trying to just keep a job…this offseason he SB champion. Couldn’t be anymore clear cut night and day defining power situations.

History says there is no doubt regarding Saquon’s 2025 expected rushing yards. So anything that’s never happened before can’t ever occur according to this logic. History clearly repeats itself. But also future always has new things never been done before. Both are true…and certain.

Why lowered expectations have just become expected and acceptable for so many Eagles fans I can’t really put my finger on the cause.

For starters, being completely oblivious to the Reddick situation. Then, for some reason you choose to believe Siri wasn't popular with the team and is bad at X and Os...when clearly the players and the other coaches constantly bring up his attention to detail and situational football. " but that's just what they have to say" lolInvest a little time into your team with the real journalists. There are plenty of sources that are around the team daily.

May 18, 20251 yr Siri as HC means we better have top coordinators. Applied day one he was hired….don’t see it changing. We constantly will be in search of a new quality OC for us to achieve the highest goals.

Optimistically he fantastic if Rosie just needed to trick Moore into completing the work Siri was lacking. Teach basics fundamental O elements to our players. Create an actual pro scheme for Siri to work from.

Hard for me to believe the O won’t require anything more ever again however. One season with an average O mind coach did do very much. It erased any doubts surrounding whether our O was just missing basic elements this whole time under Siri versus our players not possesing the abilities to do or achieve.
May 18, 20251 yr From my view winningest coach ever for us really pissed me off being so unqualified. For me he’s been responsible for delaying our best ever franchise QB. Like I’ve said I’m blessed while also cursed…understanding just how much more we could have given our O and especially Hurts. Any franchise takes a QB first overall pick…or first round…nobody even hesitates to have understanding developing your franchise QB takes priority over everything else. Siri instead short term thinking one step at a time approach…chose short cutting our best ever. Allowed to under the circumstances FO wasn’t considering Hurts as our franchise QB at first. Rosie heavily investing scouting a devoid QB class actually really considering a need for Pickett. So Rosie at fault some here as well. But Siri way about things one thought only at a time isn’t even probably the biggest holdup. Him skipping teaching Hurts basics because week one each season it wasn’t essential relying on Kelce instead. What held things up so much was Siri can’t do it. Siri doesn’t get it….so of course he isn’t believing it’s such a crucial element. Explains plenty about his so called O scheme. Best ever franchise QB been stuck in a terrible O scheme I’d identify as the even bigger delay and holdup having to be overcome.

May 18, 20251 yr Not denying Hurts wasn’t a turn key perfect football player straight out of college. Really who has been? During my days Payton Manning probably the most advanced QB coming out of college. Hurts suffered from obvious shortcomings surrounding being in a different O with different coach every season of college. Clearly focus has to be on just learning the new O as first priority.

You have even brought up naming my guys against me…for purposes also against me. Your choice…you can utilize actual disagreements or points you find me in the wrong? Or you can feel only capable of relying on playing like you aren’t fully aware …just reaching for any small way attempting to tear me down. Personally I’d rather just get destroyed swinging than any pleasures gained so falsely.
May 18, 20251 yr The point I’ve been making this whole time with Siri as HC. One name…one offseason isn’t answering but just one season success. Not hiring the most coveted O mind as HC leaves us in and endless cycle relying on finding the hardest coaching position to be filled. Every offseason have to hire a new OC. He either will stink or be great. Hire anybody just decent…Moore, Steichen…they leave getting their own team. Anything lesser we are sunk because there is nobody else to lean on.
May 18, 20251 yr This was that one offseason where the OC job looked the most enticing to actually rope in a top O mind hire. SB champs 10 returning starters. Drawbacks of why no top O mind will accept the position are him being under Siri. Real hard to go to be under a guy so much less qualified and knowledgable than you. Tricked Moore into believing he was getting autonomy over the O…Siri CEO coach only…Rosie screamed to the rafters of every microphone he could find.
May 18, 20251 yr AR, McVay, Shannahan, Peyton….any top O mind not getting a HC position can respectably work under those genius O minded HCs running the O. Most choose teams that have a D minded HC…anywhere they can run their O.
May 18, 20251 yr This is the realization not just coming from my opinions about quality of Siri O mind…this is reflection all football coaches have on Siri. After being tricked into taking the OC job here….Moore ran for the worst job around getting out. Everything else surrounding the OC Eagles job in 2025 was ideal. HC promotion in the bag…for multiple options …likely decent option. Ben Johnson latest example of OCs making this choice. Didn’t just jump for any bad job. Bad job damages your career. How many HC get a second opportunity with another team after terrible results the first time? Ever?
May 18, 20251 yr Heck Siri had been fired last offseason I doubt he even received an OC job. Hired as that hard working young coach for the real old HC would have presented his best hopes. He’s a hard worker and good person. Nobody hiring him to lean on for football X and Os …or to teach players.
