Hurts couldn't handle Moore's O, so we pulled him back to the KISS offense. It was a disastrous first 4 weeks, before the O line asked for the meeting, because they also were uncomfortable with Moore's scheme which took them away from what they do best

Here too I respectfully disagree with you. My opinion is that Moore’s O couldn’t handle/manage risk effectively. That was true in Dallas with Dak as the QB and it was true here with Hurts as the QB. I fully expect it to be true this season in New Orleans.

Who was available at the time you wanted?

I’ve given Ham four names that meet his criteria … Reid, Shannahan, Peyton and Johnson. None of the four were available. After that the cupboard is rather bare. Perhaps Ham is searching for a unicorn.

Siri is cool. He isn't the "my way or the highway" HC like Chip was. He earned his respect, didn't DEMAND he be respected. Doing that is the fastest way to LOSE respect. We all understand, Ham does not. I respect that Siri can delegate responsibilities and recognize when an underling has ideas on a better way of doing things and allows them to do them without taking over. Siri walks softly and carries a BIG STICK with 2 SB appearances and what I hope is another this year(WAIT!!!! I need to insert the word GOAL here so Ham can understand). His game plan for "boxing" KC into "the Barkley box defense" was brilliant. Fangios secondary D was also a thing of beauty. I'm happy for Hurts also. He found his niche. He doesn't need to be superman. Howie gave him the tools and he finally used them instead of playing the hero. Everyone did their jobs and I hope that continues. Obviously Ham has no respect for Siri and as long as Siri keeps winning, Ham will have an outlet to hate, but there is no denying Siri is the winningest coach in franchise history and Howe has given this team the best players in franchise history. A few chinks in the armor maybe, but really can you name ONE unit we have that is weak overall?(maybe LB) but Howie may not be done getting players. Let's see who gets cut we can use

Superb post!

I don’t think (opinion) that Ham lacks understanding and/or comprehension. He usually understands and comprehends what is being said. What drives him to come across as not understanding/comprehending is his abundance of bias and hubris.

As we have been discussing, the word goal did not to be inserted as part of my original PPG statement. It was an assumption most people make just fine. After he complained I put the explanation of what a goal was and what I meant. But of course 2 years down the line he goes back to my original post which did NOT contain the word "goal" because apparently 2 years ago my explanation of same didn't register. This is Hams synapses not firing when you need to spell out everything like you do a 5 year old who keeps asking WHY? There was nothing wrong with my initial statement. "I want our offense to get 31PPG" That is a GOAL, without needing to state it's a goal. And at that statement I was told "That is impossible and can't be done". maybe not but it's still something you strive for(aka goal) Just pages and pages of not understanding

Just handing things over to a rookie is bad enough…even first rounder unproven. But in a corner with two of the three best options aren’t looking like available options. Can’t cut them really either. Dean certainly will hit IR. Rookie very possibly starts the season on IR also. My heart believes in Trot sentimentally. Georgia fifth round rookie fitting in behind Georgia guys might just be as ideal a situation gets for him. Fangio absolutely LB Whisperer what is going for us there. Way to early bets are he utilizes Trot and Smael in differing packages. Get them focused in on just half the responsibilities playing towards their strengths. Trot run…Smael pass. Admit this isn’t a very educated opinion…completely spitballing to formulate a way this some how works for us. Not good…but hey I actually believe in both guys. We’ll see. More likely just bring in a vet last minute as the guy.

OK we can disagree. Moores offenses are more "open" and as you say risk averse due to more passing. 3 things can happen on a pass,2 of them are bad. It can be completed, it can be intercepted, or it can be incomplete. If your QB can master completions and even incompletions with no picks, Moores offense works, but his offense also requires completions of deep and hot reads with a QB who has a strong arm. Hurts doesn't have those qualities in my view. He is great at the dink and dunk which we pulled back too after Hurts not being able to capture Moores offensive style. So we agree to disagree. McKee came a long way under Moore because he is a different type than Hurts(pocket passer). Hurts has a high completion% because all we ask now is to complete the short passes on fewer occaisions. it works and that is all that matters

JMO I will toss out here. As with most teams you can take boatloads of pressure off your LB's and S's with a dominant pass rush. IDK what Fangio will do with Huff. I know Fangio teaches, but doesn't babysit anyone, that's on YOUR time to work hard and learn. DeJean did just that after a late start too coming off injury. Yet being a sponge of the game DeJean spent his time on film, vids and learning techniques and what Fangio was teaching. I hope Huff can break through. Fangio doesn't care what you paid a guy, if you can't perform you sit. Obviously no takers for Huff. In NY he was an up and comer, but a severe disappointment here. Kind of strange to me as one would think Fangio would make him better. Something is holding hm back. Attitude maybe? Some are too full of themselves to be able to learn. We are "stuck" with Huff, but it would be nice if he could add to the pass rush. We will see what happens. What Howie saw and paid for in NY isn't happening here. I'm hoping some young pass rusher can step up after all the ones we lost to FA

Looking down the roster we have a very young D. I like it alot, bodes well for future success

Hurts was tossing picks, it's difficult to get 20PPG when you turn it over 2-3 times

Actually suffering in the street ball just go make something happen ‘Siri Scheme’ of 2023 they were the second ranked O…with Hurts suffering his greatest amount of interceptions. You know with the best pro D players and coaches knowing exactly our playcall before snap even.

Sounds great…except price it by showing the stats with him throwing the most interceptions where we weren’t scoring a bunch

Only one team in the league was scoring more …while Hurts interceptions were at there height. No just coincidence to believe that was Siri heavy fingerprints with the O returning.

LMAO it wasn't a "key detail" for ANYONE ELSE. The flaw was in your lack of comprehension skills, that's on you

Blame me for my lack of comprehending regarding your wording mistake. Geez…you never own anything ever as you were in the wrong,

LMAO yet you post stats when it fits your agenda, otherwise they don't matter. very juvenile. I posted the link with stats that showed Hurts did not "throw more than anyone" In fact he was 22nd. And that's all it takes to send you on some imaginary post marathon/ A) stats matter B) stats don't matter PICK ONE and stop hopping the fence back and forth

Think I’m very consistent. Prioritize Sb over week one first series taking off the red no hit jersey. Can’t understand doing doing any different.

With worst first quarter scoring…it’s really the only place just so clearly Siri controlled last season

I am firm believer Siri stepped in starting week two really stripping back Moore O. Week 3 more. Week 4 Siri didn’t field any team ready to compete that day. Injuries excuse to lose. But didn’t excuse whole team so flat just not showing any belief they could even win that day.

Right either you achieve your goal or you don't????? "My goal was achieved" or "I didn't achieve my goal" or "I gave up on my goal" this applies to masters degrees or football teams PPG's A goal is either achieved or it isn't. Makes no difference what the goal is

Goal should be along with my thinking and our leader Hurts. 24 years old he light years ahead of you understanding just win….all about winning championships he clearly defined the goal.

That is your subjective and highly biased opinion. My own subjective opinion is different.

All very good and important attributes. Even more valuable in the Eagles’ team concept.

I'm simply saying Siri appears to be a motivator

He (Howie) hires coaches who's job it is to teach

I concern myself with results not so much in the manner you get there

He hired Patullo. The guy been here all along when things went well…and when teaching and answers couldn’t be found. Moore Rosie stripped Siri of power hiring. Moore highlighted the world of difference just an average qualified coach made for us.

I mean what else would you need to prove the situation with our Eagles the last four years?

Our whole O became pro just with one season under Moore. Nobody calling Moore anything great either. Not like McVay came over and we saw O genius at work. Moore just as fired in Dallas…unimpressive in San Diego La. Moore isn’t terrible. Not wishing to bash him over things.

Point being clearly made of light years of so much HurtsHaters faulted our QB for being incapable of doing for the first three years. Then poof magically he does it all while learning another new O he’s done every year. Reads the D, audibles incredibly effectively…pass over the middle….doesnt turn the ball over hardly at all.
