I can’t even imagine Johnson and Hurts in 2023 not agreeing completely about how much they disagreed with Siri O. Hurts wasn’t given much power to even audible at that point though. Felt like his options were run the play called…or change to screen pass or run. I mean seriously. Wasn’t the only change when the D knew our play was to a screen. I guess I’m being extreme…but not by too much. Every opponent knew it too. Screen or deep. That was the playbook with a slant occasionally to AJ.

Then 2023 Steichen exits. Opportunity knocks. Rosie Florida alum that is family friend to Hurts family becomes OC. Siri stated how hard it was after he was forced to give things to his chosen coach in Steichen. That he only was absolutely forced to do. Things were just terrible…self preservation dictated him giving it over to Steichen. But after Steichen leaves….you believe Siri just became a quitter that doesn’t believe in himself? Couldn’t be more opposite of Siri personality. Confident competitive and a fighter. He’s HC. He’s going to just not even attempt to prove himself with a second chance? He’s going to just bend over for the coach he never hired….that had no experience really either. Our O was so heavy on going for the big plays. Hurts, AJ and Smitty delivered outstanding delivering. But the big play not just taking shots here or there…it was big playmaking reliant O. But the big play O wasn’t the HC confident in himself and his O. That was the other guy mostly choosing to do things exactly according to Siri philosophy. C’mon man! Johnson had no control. He was tight with our QB. Didn’t allow him to do things his way. Probably just stirred up friction if anything.

Answering yourself? Classic Ham LOLOLOL

It’s mostly based on statistical records of factual scoring and interceptions that took place. The educated observation on Siri is just me actually watching the games. Me listening to the pressers. Just observing personalities and football philosophies. Siri believes in himself. He admitted it’s hard to give up running his O. He’s said exactly that. His number one stat or deciding factor for wins and losses being big plays. Demanded Gannon or any DC play accordingly to just never give up the big plays. Which we exactly witnessed soft underneath coverage anybody paying attention should have crusted us exposing just like AR did in that SB.

This is an excellent description of subjective opinion. The observation about Sirianni reflects bias as well.

As I said above it’s your opinion. You have every right to it. I have a different opinion. Reasonable people can agree to disagree reasonably

You can't score if you keep turning the ball over C'mon now

So back up how when Hurts was throwing the most interceptions in 2023 we weren’t the second highest scoring team past halfway point in the season. Sorry…I know it sounds good and all….but actually isn’t correct

Scored 30 less points in 2023 than 2024

15 interceptions versus 5…hardly seems like it’s actually so defining.

So Siri should be planning the SB right now???? That should be his priority????

Not realistic thinking everything gets done in TC. So mapping out a rough outline of installation bigger picture planning isn’t some outlier thinking. Could be some packages and elements expecting to be needed more later in the schedule. Don’t know how you can really plan any SB in the summer. But thinking biggest picture possible internally with the 2025 Eagles. Not just the whole summer focused on week one against the Cowboys as all that matters concerning our team needs.

And what happened after the bye??????

Felt like reworking the creation of the new O was taking place most likely. It got tested a few games. So then evaluated and fine tuned things. Most elite pro schemes been developing for years and decades. So a few games under live testing is really small sample comparatively to seasons worth. But definitely felt very much like Siri taking control very much right then.

What a BS load of crap. The amount of BS you peddle is amazing

Winning and especially winning championships isn’t BS logic to prioritize over stat chasing. You think however you wish….first thing Brady will do is hold up all his rings!

The need to score goes way down … especially in the 2nd Half … when you are up by 3 scores. 228 points of aggregate margin does not need to be added to.

Case in point, in the 2nd Half of the Super Bowl with a lead of 34-0 what reason is there to score more? 2023 was full of close games and games where the Eagles trailed.

Apples and oranges

Agreed. You don’t even know what AFC team will be in the SB.

After week 5 none because Siri took the hero ball game away from him. Then you also stated Hurts ran the offense, yet we put up 70 points with BU's, so 2 games proving you wrong yet again. You talk just to talk. Your football knowledge goes to waste. all lost in your useless self serving, biased, praying to your false god rhetoric

5 whole interceptions is your defining number of our leader throwing all these interceptions. First time calling Oline blocking assignments, reading everything, calling for motion to begin. Yeah all these years he barely was given this so common place tool in every pro O scheme being run the last decade. Oh yeah…learning this brand new O created developing chemistry with every other O player gets ng on the same page. Not just him…but his targets this season were also reading and adjusting as well. You know…receiving just another common place pro O feature finally. Let’s just be straight about just how mastered and perfected a new O creation can ever possibly be before ever facing live real game testing. Seemed to me it needed to be tweaked and improved after bye week studying its quality.

My belief (opinion) is that it wasn’t a reworking, but rather a scrapping of Moore’s pre-Bye scheme and building the post-Bye scheme we saw.

I mean is that any possibility at all in your mind? Could the brand new O Moore created combining Siri and his concepts and terminology together actually have not been just spliced together just in one summer as well as let’s say an AR O scheme he inherited from a genius that Holmgrem inherited and did plenty of adapting to. Oh and the decades of AR master class 100s of games battle testing he has evolved his scheme to become? Several genius O minds spending decades one after the other actually testing and operating their O …maybe room for a slight understanding of Moore didn’t create a scheme in a few summer months equaling decades of brilliant master craft.

What is a reasonable timeframe of grace period creating a Pro O scheme? One month…with some practices to test? One year of hard work by the greatest O mind in history? A decade?

But let’s call it fair to blame everything on the QB expecting a pro scheme to be perfected in a couple of months never even testing in PS games with starters. Sure…let’s just define a player so heavily on his first series backed up in his own endzone first time without the red jersey ON….can I add it’s taking place in Brazil? Not even QB fault…Dickerson All Pro G got bulldozed into him is why an interception even happened. But 4 picks…meaning 25 percent of evaluating things you placing on all that occurring. That seems legitimate to condemn the QB labeling him flawed interception thrower.

Brazil first game of the season feels like enough to completely blow off an interception. Stud G getting beat is actually the guy at fault so Hurts can’t finish his throw. First series…of that first game. No PS action at all. In his own endzone at that. Then maybe we get to how it took a super stud interception machine S coming all the way across making the pick. Kelce retiring adding several more responsibilities the QB first time executing. Brand new O he’s never used in a game.

Guess I’m kind of listing out just how numerous the factors are so you can read it and consider just how unreasonable it would be forming a quarter of defining opinion based on that single moment. I’d call the least defining moment of the season in fact.

But five interceptions…holy crap…bench that guy for Ryan Leaf. Take away every reason excusing any QB in that situation not being flawless already. He threw five picks the whole season. No fair reasonable objectionable opinion condemning just the QB on so very little. Especially don’t let facts of All Pro G actually being at fault for the first one instead of the QB. Make sure to never consider the fresh O never been tested very likely wasn’t flawless before it ever tested a game. Number one WR hurt first game. Oline injuries.

I know I’m hopelessly reaching here that you’ll read all this and actually consider just how agenda based HurtsHating defining and condemning our QB is over four interceptions…blah blah…listing the twenty reasons there can’t be any reasonable expectation the O was already mastered by players before it was mastered designed by Moore.

Four interceptions…say it out loud…absolutely nothing….but yank that QB leader …what a bum…first starting QB ever thrown four picks in several games ever. We want our money back.

Brett Favre averaged around 18 interceptions a season….guess he never scored points turning the ball over that many times. FL you’d completely make that QB only hand off ever. 4 you conclude defined Hurts…

Giving it the label "hero ball” is misleading and a bit unfair to Hurts. I personally call it Moore Ball.

I don’t know…guess it feels like the more I point out just how unreasonable it is…it actually could sink in. Which isn’t going to happen…to me every time typing it just so clearly sounding beyond outrageous expectations to ever have. It’s like in one TC every QB should reach Drew Brees levels of mastery he reached in his thirties executing a great Peyton scheme for many years.

Siri was the guy who completely relied on hero ball as his majority O scheme he ran in 2023. But I have no issues against utilizing how our team has been built top priority being massive Oline maulers…coached by an all time great. Why wouldn’t you use them after prioritizing getting them the highest? Physically attack and punish our opponent. In what universe does there need to be any other reasoning that we do that? I mean really…like we just were forced into such a bad option relying on those Oline guys we only pay league minimum.

Oh the irony. Ham, who won’t answer their questions, insists that they answer his.

Amazing, truly amazing.
