My point is ….it would have to…if the ‘blockers’ raise their arms it does tighten the trajectory angles available.

But once again once the ball is kicked the kicking team cannot touch it first

Gotta be able to tackle and disengage from the blocks to be on the kicking side of things.

Does no good to do that if the returner can get by you. How many blocks in the back will we see???

I don’t believe this is the list of players to spend the money on.

Going to have Post June 1st contract situations unfold…possibly could shake a decent player loose. Then at the end of TC some vets will be seen as beat out…or expendable and cut….or up for trade. Then you have the options that arise all the way up until the trade deadline. Better options will become available.

That comes down to tackling disengaging from blocks annd  Angle of pursuit.

LOL you keep bashing Howie about "cap space" yet we have top notch players AND cap space

How much angle are you getting in 10 yards? If you are coming across the whole field you will be behind the action(aka blocks in the back)

We have what I predict is a 10 win team. I don’t just bash Rosie. I point out my opinions on the good and the bad.

With the talent we have 10 wins would be a disgusting failure. Is that as high a bar as you have?

If you are just blown away with this season’s roster…frankly I’d be shocked you had that opinion. It’s good…but not great. If your goal is we field a competitive team? Then yes I’d say Rosie accomplished that. If the goal is celebrating a parade at the end of this season? Then I’d say no….Rosie didn’t accomplish that.

Pretty similar aspects to playing defense in many ways. Defenders always practice angle of pursuit. That I did when I started playing the game as a small child. Always a factor. It’s not ten yards either to make the tackle…it’s more.

You know here is no parade before we play 1 game? WOW what a defeatist attitude. I'm expect more. If the rooks come through and last years rooks step up you don't think this is one of the best rosters in the NFL?

Well playing defense you have 40 yards plus to set that up,with 10 not so much. On the kick off they are 10 yards apart as I see it

Are we a better team than last year or the year before? I really have doubts there. I see us as rebuilding with youth and new schemes. Main uptick should revolve around coordinators.

They have us at 11th…

Are we above or below the Packers? Rams?

So having more than the 8 plays we ran last year, with better players all around than last year means we should have a worse record? I mean barring another collapse?

Who are "they"? And why should I believe them?

I don’t see how either of these apply. D you don’t get 40 yards…and it’s more than 10 on these KOs. Angle of pursuit and finishing/completing the tackle are very crucial skills any KO coverage player will need. Oh…and the avoidance and disengaging from blocks.

Yes we already know you have given us 2 losses there LOL.

The blockers for each team are ten yards apart(see the damn map they laid out)

SO your safeties don't have more than 10 yards to get angles of attack? Really?

That’s just the big media I quoted a couple weeks back. It’s all subjective. That’s why I ask are we above or below the Packers? And so on. Seems like you feel much stronger about our teams roster. Do you believe we have assembled the most talented team? I’m leaning pretty closely to that big media ranking. A 10 win team…was thinking slightly higher than 11th maybe.

Well,I'm shooting for 12 wins. If Hurts steps up see no reason we can't do that. Plus we have the STUD RB we lacked for many years with 2 of the top WR's and now a slot option we didn;t have before. AND if the new coaches can avoid misusing Goedert he should also have a stellar year

Well it’s more talking about ranking each team’s roster and coaching league wide in comparison. I just asked you what your opinion was. Those two teams I believe remembering were the close question marks in the discussion amongst NFC teams in particular….in the big media I quoted ranking…not mine. So you are pointing at me…when it wasn’t my opinion.

I just asked your opinion…is all…instead of you lashing out at me over somebody else opinion. But I have no problem sharing my own opinions also.
