In an RPO(see the word OPTION in there?) Hurts can keep the ball no matter the call. Baffling

Even on a pass play Hurts ALWAYS has the option to pull the ball down-ALWAYS

We’ve got younger…other than at RB that is….so optimism lies in our growth for me

Love is going to be a good QB. We need to stuff him game 1. He will get tougher as the year goes on

Me too,we all have clamored for "we need to get younger" and now we have it. If Shipley pans out as expected,he can take over for Bark if we move on in 2-3 years

I'm talking about the guys we HAVE LOL

You responded to my statement about the article you posted. Which is my concern about the thinking of just trying to find the next best closest version we can find to Kelce…to replace Kelce. I would have just concentrated on finding the best C we could.

Rebuild and grow this newer younger group now

Well his physical presence is nearly identical to Kelce's and after 2-3 years of effort from Kelce he was the guy he hand picked

Remove the word rebuild and I agree

RG is still the ? for me. I know Steen will start there, but Jurgens beat him out last year

Jurgens was handed the job quite frankly. They were running with him until he flatly failed…which he didn’t…to his credit. He missed games…that gave opportunities to others. So he still has the question mark on his durability. He showed he can play in the NFL….but wasn’t anywhere near playing at a top level. Both elements Kelce crucially brought to the table.

Who is the BU center? Do we have one? Kelce was very durable I know Dickerson was a C,but I really want to avoid musical chairs with the O line

Have to believe Hennessy

Maybe if we look bad we can pry Kelce out of retirement LOL. You know his eyes will be on Jurgens every game

Don't know alot about him

Yeah, the play of Jurgens and Steen will be important and of course if Hurts decides to give him the ball or keep it himself. Mid-late 1 or early 2 is about right then. He would be nice if your draft position was 8-12. I'm in 4 leagues.so will see where I pick. I hesitate putting him higher because there are many mouths to feed in this offense

Which RBs would you put ahead of him.  Lots of mouthes to feed the last 2 years.... he is much better than Swift and a few classes above that stiff in Carolina.

Well they’ve seemed to have him exclusively training at RG as Steen insurance….so far. Multiple reasons I believe that will change.

C CAM JURGENS, PHILADELPHIA EAGLES

Smart teams draft for the future rather than immediate needs.

The Eagles drafted center Cam Jurgens in the second round of the 2022 NFL Draft to be an heir-in-waiting to future Hall of Fame center Jason Kelce.

Kelce retired this offseason, paving the way for Jurgens to finally assume the position he is best at. Jurgens played over 700 snaps for the Eagles at right guard last season, but at a little over 300 pounds, he was always projected to play center at the next level.

At guard, he was a solid run blocker with some very iffy games pass-blocking, but at center, he will have regular help on either side of him in that regard, and that run-blocking prowess will only be emphasized.

He was always seen as Kelce's natural successor inside, and 2024 is the first year he will have that opportunity.   Per PFF

We have McMahon also the C from NC state

Sharping is also a RG,so we have guys just need one to make his case to stick

I’d really like to see him show well enough for Hennessy to just not even make the team to begin with.

Should be an interesting camp battle and pre season at that position. RG I mean

Maybe McMahon can be a BU RG or win the spot next year and still be a BU C if he is good enough

  • Jurgens had the worst pass-blocking grade and second-worst run-blocking grade among Philadelphia O-linemen in the prior season.
  •  Obviously didn’t perform anywhere near HoF levels….to say the least.

Hmmm... compared to Mailata, Dickerson, Kelce and Lane....  Jurgens was the worst...lol.

I saw an article about getting him(Sanders) back here as a tandem to Bark since they played college ball together. I personally would not do it
