We have Sweat, Huff, Smith(last years first rounder) and Hunt(this years hand picked player by Fangio) all ahead of BG. I’ve been higher on Tarron Jackson than most. Have Patrick Johnson on the team as a possible option. Brought in Okwara by Fangio choice. Where does a 30 year old Ogbah fit in here to you? I just don’t see or understand the move…

More rotations keep guys fresher, just common sense. You are trusting Smith to make the jump, what if he doesn't? Hunt is very rough, needs alot of work. I don't care who you are "high on",will Jackson see a snap? Okwara will be ok as a rotational, but any of these guys go down and you are putting yourself at risk if ANOTHER goes down. I don't see any reason NOT to add a guy for pennies

If we face some injuries all at the position then things could need to change…out of desperation.

And what number in the rotation is Jackson? Sixth…maybe

I have no idea we haven't had camp yet LOL

We have a rotation with numbers at the position. Elite production is the only real question mark area.

By then he will be gone elsewhere,to whomever loses a guy first. For mere pennies on the dollar it's smart to get him here

Is there a chance he’ll be ahead of Sweat? Huff? Smith? Hunt? BG? Nope. Sixth is the ceiling at this point with everybody healthy. Same thing for bringing in a 30 year old Oghbah.

SO let him compete for 4,5,6 or whatever. For a few pennies you are against him competing?

We have zero clue how Hunt will do. Small school guys are harder to transition, they aren't used to better opponents. You have no idea where he would fall in the rotation, that is up to Fangio not you

Once again you are arguing just to argue because I picked him LOL. If you brought him up it would be a world class move. I'm still waiting for the 7 games we will lose

We are rebuilding and developing. Not about a 30 year old competing week one against these young inexperienced guys we’ve invested heavily in. We need to develop these guys for the future.

Is there a chance he could spell any of them,so they stay fresh every game?

Yeah for next year LMAO. WHO TF said he would play week 1??? I said he could be a BU rotational guy for CHEAP

Hopefully by the end of this season. But frankly for years to come…much more than just next year when talking about a first round pick and a third round reach.

I never said he was BETTER,I said he could be used to spell our top guys for CHEAP

Building a core of players for Fangio to run our D on for several years to come is the idea. It’s not my idea even. This is the teams decision making taking place.

OH so yeah lets loose early this season LOL. Maybe Ogbah spells guys enough and gives them a breather so we won't lose those games

But we have to play in the here and now also. Ogbah 1 year, cheap deal yet Ham has to fight tooth and nail for no apparent reason. I never claimed he would be a long term piece did I?

It isn’t about being the best week one. Its about rebuilding and developing much more long term.

Week one clearly Reddick would have been the clear answer. Team is going in another direction rebuilding a D under Fangio hopefully for years to come.

We don't have Reddick, but you are just totally against giving any help to the guys we still have LOL

Seems to me YOU are the one fighting tooth and nail over a 30 year old sixth option

Can't allow Huff or Sweat to get a breather I guess with someone who has experience playing

No that's not an answer,he is NOT ON OUR TEAM. I'm not fighting it would be a wise move to lock up a veteran BU for very little money. Why are you opposed to this?
