Seemed to work well for Burrow. He isn’t a strong armed QB either

Burrow threw a 70 yard pass...over the Green Bay safety....right into the hands of Chase for a TD.

Hurts isn't throwing 56 yards....let alone 70 .

Come on now!

Not sure why you hold the coach who’s job it is to teach and come up with the plan to explain to his QB to a lower standard than the QB? You’re fine with the playcaller being ignorant and not coming up with answers and are critical of the QB should have more knowledge than the HC.

The playcaller was fired.  Part of why I am looking forward to 2024.

Except for when we steal a trade from the Saints, then that rookie we would have drafted would have a huge impact  ... because the agenda against Howie?

It wasn’t a steal of a trade. It was a fair trade.we had a very unique great opportunity presented for us to win the SB that season. So trading away talent to keep off our opportunity to win the ring is a tough decision to get behind. Did we need a S in 2022, 2023, 2024…? Yep been a need the whole time. Great draft setup we could have trade back to that Grouping of what’s proven to be a successful class of S …plus added picks in the trade back. Win/win. Is what it is. We didn’t win the SB. Had the 31st ranked pass D last season. Spent draft capital at the position still. While still quite frankly needing the S.

58 yards is Burrows longest pass in air yards to date

It was a streal of a trade because the Saints were desperate.   It's why in business you always eliminate emotion from a decision.  Absolutely a steal of a trade for the Eagles...everyone article you find on it said so...any chart you read would say so... only your agenda against Howie says otherwise.  Just brutal

The league favors Reid...I got it.

Spin it baby.

That comment was pure spin when quoting my post about the league King Making Mahomes

I’ve seen Goedert ranked as top ten. I can agree on that. I like his all around ability. But why don’t we concentrate on what’s best for us. Fit things specifically to our team and personnel…instead of how things work for some other QB in a whole other scheme?

Using Goedert correctly fits things specifically and why Goedert production fell last year. Used right he is a top 5 TE

So you believe Hurts can win playing Burrow's style?

He can do more than Burrow. But Burrow seems to do all the passing skills well. Nothing great. Just does all well.

This is just faulty logic the way I see it. Some players just need more time to develop. Slot WR isn’t easy to play at all. Talent is one thing…being ready for NFL game day production is a whole other beast. Plenty of super talented players never even make it in the NFL.

It's called transitioning. A round 1 drafted player could take 3 years if he cant transition a round 5 guy could play if he gets the NFL down quickly

That’s tough to really make the case for. But if you think so. I gave him top ten…think he’s quality all around TE. I’d have to really get into breaking down the position league wide to form an exact opinion.

Some guys stayed more for potential. Some guys are more NFL ready. Both play major factors in draft positioning. Smith doesn’t have the first two draft days ceiling ability even. But also needs development. Sounds very critical of him. But I like the pick and believe in the player adding to our team some specific elements. I’m just not sold on it happening week one like you. I’m not even sure how much a factor he’ll be for us his rookie season.

There you go...plus Barkley and Shipley.  2024 should be better.

We need more than 142 yards from the slot which was my argument all along. I don't care who gets it

Mahomes didn’t play his rookie season.

Parris average contributor as well.

Quez was below average. Average is better than below average

I was talking about the 150 yards a season he averages in his career as a contribution. Definitely wasn’t calling Parris and average level player.

Maybe based on last year yes,but we all saw how he was miused all year. He has also had to battle for target share because we have kick arse WR's

QB's are different. Many don't start because they are plans for the future. GB is excellent at this and now Love gets his turn

He was 14th yardage wise last season

Hurts can throw this TD from the 29 and would have landed on the 10... 60 plus in the air, not floating in the air forever like Hurts.

Hurts can't make these passes...

Not bad being misused all year

52 yards on a rope without having to step up and loft it like Hurts

Hurts has 58 yard in the air pass himself exactly like Burrow. Facts and stats are just that. No spin you can put on those. Nice try though. I’m here to call out the BS though. Be here tomorrow too.

I remember,I think it was Favre, throwing 74 yards in the air in the annual QB competition. Unreal
