Am I the only one not overly upset by today?

Tough loss. But there will be better Eagles football ahead.

Today was a gut check.

How they respond will define the season.

More the way they lost than anything else.

I think some of those guys are just JAGs but our WRs coach Aaron moorehead should’ve been fired last year. He is not that good. The fact of the matter is what wide receiver besides AJ Brown (already awesome before coming here) and Devonta Smith (one of the most polished WR prospects in years) have gotten better since he’s been here or developed? Greg ward might be the best answer to that. Add on the amount of bad penalties we had WRs take last year and continued to do so without learning from it. @LeanMeanGM and I have said this for a couple years.

WR is one of the positions you either got it or don't, to me. Can teach blocking but route running is a natural skill.

If they can’t win a playoff game hosting the Skins or Bucs then they never deserved a thing

I keep seeing people complain about this, but if we're honest with ourselves, this is Lane Johnson on every play.

A good point brought up on the PHLY post game show:

I think Hurts plays Sunday, but if not, they're probably going to have to play him vs the Giants, even if they beat Dallas, because they aren't going to want Hurts to go into the playoffs not having played for essentially 3 weeks. And if they play him, they wouldn't play him with backups and do him dirty like that, so if Hurts doesn't play Sunday, we may be looking at all the offensive starters vs Giants regardless.

They’re wrong. Zero chance that he, or any other key starter plays that game if it doesn’t matter.

Would have liked to see Huff on some of those possessions and think he has value coming back

Washington is a much better matchup for us too, so today's loss may have ultimately helped us, weirdly.

I hate Kenny Pickett as a QB.  I wanted so bad to beat them with a terrible backup QB to prove a point.

It's a nothing burger to me

If we clinch next week without Jalen Hurts, he can play a couple of snaps with backups if he really wants to.

No way should we play all our starters so he can get reps.

Today’s game was almost exactly like the Jags game only the Skins finished the game winning drive

If my math is right, Saquon Barkley had 12 carries for 120 yards at the end of the 1st quarter.

Final 3 quarters, 17 carries for 30 yards.

They had about 13 guys lined up in the box.   4 of them lined up over Calcaterra.

Going to be a long week to wait though isn’t it. Man I hate a loss. Especially a loss like that.

Nah.  Christmas hits in the middle and I've got plenty to do since I'm off work.   If anything, it will be over too soon.

I feel like the quick slant was there to be had all day long. I'm not mad if Kellen Moore is gone after this season.

Except that INT.

There’s always been a contingent in here that is over the top with Smitty love.

He’s a good player and I’m glad he’s an Eagle, but his fan boys are over the top. Even going as far as saying that he’s better than AJ lol.

He’s also a likable guy, so maybe that’s another reason why he never gets criticized, but he absolutely deserves a ton or criticism for this loss.

But people really like him so it will get special treatment.

Criticism, yes.  All the blame on his shoulders?  Absolutely not.

Agree, I’ll go as far as to say we need him.

The explanation for CJGJ's ejection from official: he taunted the Commies player.

So basically CJGJ got ejected for saying "na na na poo poo, you can't beat us"

Absolute Fing joke, Lurie should be furious.

New biggest draft need is WR, apparently it’s time to replace Devonta Smith

I wanted Jones for this year but Howie won't admit he made a horrible trade.

We absolutely need Bryce Huff. Hunt/Smith played too many snaps when Sweat went down. Sweat was fairly ineffective too (not his fault)

And gets punched in the face

They better lay the F off Barkley now.

Any word on him yet

Everyone gets criticism, and they should. If he catches it we win, if we did a to of other things we would’ve won. We weren’t good enough today - period.

It wasn’t likely, but they were an onside kick away from having a chance….and we could not stop them.

It took them 15 plays and 4 minutes of game clock to get a garbage time TD, and they were down 2 scores. Eagles did what they needed to do, not give up chunk plays and let them waste their time. The three drives before that were punt, downs and an interception. They stopped him plenty.
