It would be hilarious if the Eagles rest starters in week 18 and the Giants win that game to cost themselves the number one overall pick.

Yeah that’s not true. They haven’t clinched yet. Their scenario is win Sunday vs. Atlanta or Tampa loses and they are in. If Gb wins tonight they clinch. Hypothetically if commanders lose to Atlanta and Dallas they’d finish 10-7. If Tampa wins out (assuming Atlanta wins the division) they’d also be 10-7. Tiebreaker would come down to conference record. Tampa would win as they beat the commanders week 1

It was egregious with some of the calls.  I thought I was in the twilight zone.  It felt like every single personal foul that was called was the first time that’s ever been called. CJGJ for talking trash, Jalen Carter for helping a guy up. Then the non calls on Hurts, Pickett, along with every single play where Jalen Carter is held.

Ya I’d laugh. I can see Atlanta winning that game. Atlanta’s better off with penix than cousins. Even as a rookie in his second career start and first road start.  i just don’t think cousins is where he was physically prior to the Achilles. Really harder time seeing them lose to Dallas twice this year. I’d love to see it though. I’m hoping Atlanta at least wins the SNF game so commanders have to play their guys week 18.

Its possible because if the eagle had won at minium they are division winners and pretty much locked into #2 seed.

I'm still annoyed at shetty bears and then aints for not starting statler. It could've been a much different outcome even though they had a chance to win at the end.

Lol. Not gonna lie I probably sounded similar when it happened. I couldn’t believe they didn’t call the personal foul penalty. If I’m the Eagles, I have all these clips of where the commanders had guys hit our players in the helmet or go for shots to the head andI send it to the league before that playoff game (assuming they are the 7 seed)

Honestly i rather face them than Tampa or GB as the 7 seed. I think their defense is not good. Hurts is healthy, I’m not sure the commanders have an answer for stopping the eagles running game. I’m guessing they overcommit at halftime and force hurts to throw and frankly hurts is better than Pickett and can beat you with his legs if things aren’t there. Feels like the commanders might have scored points at some point but eagles might have gone for 40+

The Giants have been in full tank mode for a month. The only way they win is if they have #1locked up

I tend to think he actually had a concussion . When you watch him get up from the initial hit he looks wobbly and then regained himself to then give a thumbs up to the official. When I first saw it I thought for sure they were gonna make him go out and get tested because it looked like he was wobbly. I was surprised they didn’t immediately do it. 

I agree. I just think he tried to "beat the test” again and didn’t get so lucky this time.

Easiest way not to have to play, without the label of being injury riddled or soft.  He's getting smarter.

He had to leave the field to be evaluated in the locker room... that's procedure after the initial failed test.

That's my thought. The refs didn't want to keep calling that penalty, even though there were two blatant penalties on that play. The fact that we have to discuss it is pathetic though. Make the right calls when they need to be made.
