Even if it was blown out of proportion, it never should've happened in the first place. Ertz rarely had beef with anyone and him reacting like that most likely means whatever was said was classless and bush league to prompt that sort of reaction. Meanwhile, we know Sirianni has a long track record of being a dewsh during and after games, so him taking a pot shot at one of the best TEs in franchise history screams sore loser, man child energy that we've come to expect from him.

Classless and bush league... yeah, that sounds like Sirianni.

While I believe Sirianni brings more to the table for this team than most give him credit for, it’s stuff like this that prevents most people (myself included) from giving him the full benefit of the doubt.

FWIW, we should be rooting for the Seahicks here.

Nah.  Ertz put his own contract ahead of the team and it hurt the team.  Thankful for everything Ertz gave but he’s gone now.  I’ll take the side of the folks who are contributing now.

It’s really not about which side to take.  Not to me at least. For me, it’s about having to listen to opinions about the Eagles head coach who has repeatedly put himself in emotional situations where he does things, trivial as some may be, that most head coaches have enough control to avoid in the first place.  If he does not have the self-control to make the proper decisions in emotional times after a game, it makes me wonder if he has it during critical times within a game.

Oh, so you can throw a flag after a player throws a punch following some jawing going on.

Interesting.

We win with CJ too. Ugh.

Yep, that’s how I view it. Pick any head coach and think about how many instances there are of them acting out after a game. You’ll come up with one time, maybe two. With Nick it’s multiple a season.

All i know is if ertz gets into a scuffle with Lurie then he’s completed the trifecta of Howie, sirianni and Lurie

He wins 13-14 games more often than not.

I know, I know ….. when the Eagles win it’s 100% the players and the losses are 100% Sirianni.  I hope he’s making a good enough salary to put up with it.

These games have been so bad the past 2 days.

Good thing Seahawks likely won't make the playoffs because they are looking scary right now. They'd be the team no one wants to face with the way they are playing.

I already said that I thought he brought more to the table the most give him credit for.   Jeffrey Lurie would not employ a clueless HC.  But I do have to think that even Lurie is rolling his eyes and some of the things this guy does.

And Nick certainly is not doing himself any favors if they do not perform in the playoffs… He’s giving Lurie an easy out if he wished to take it.  Who in the media would question him at this point… Despite all his ‘wins’?

Then he lectures players about self control when he has none. We have an immature head coach.

I couldn’t care less about the media questioning anything.  Tossing a head coach with Sirianni’s results because you think anyone could do it would be idiocy.

There is no doubt in my mind that Lurie's standard of coaching decorum has been shattered by Nick.  But his teams win at an alarming rate inspite of 3 OC and 3-4 DC in four years.  Winning is joy.  Joy wins over decorum.

I could see the owner of the Titans, or some other middling team, feeling that way about regular season wins.  Lurie knows Howie built a top 3 roster (perhaps the very best).  Different standards…or at least I hope there are

They have six points.

I’d honestly rather be watching a cooking show with Legette discussing and showing how to cook the perfect raccoon dinner than this football game

Caleb Williams’ body language is as discouraging as it gets

Playoffs 4 years running with a SB in there is pretty good.

Maybe Sirianni just worded something poorly and it came off as offensive but wasn't intended to. It seems to me that the people that don't like Sirianni want this to be some big deal that they can hold against him. It sounds like both parties have reconciled and moved on.

wtf are the bears doing? Now you burned a timeout. Either have the balls to go for it or just punt it. Now if you don’t get it you are down to 2 timeouts.

bears incredibly fortunate with how awful that oline blocked on that play.
