I’m still impressed with Caleb Williams. He can make some wow throws. I know it’s trendy to hate on him, but think he’s going to be good one.

Name a more iconic duo than the bears and clock management!

Second TNF in 3 weeks to not have a TD.

I think I was only watching to see what way the Bears would lose this one.

I think we all know that if Eli Manning had made that desperation heave to no one on fourth down, it would have been completed.

Why? Don't watch if you don't like them.

Heard a commercial on the radio about an hour before the game with someone saying "Take CHI +3.5; the point spread is too high and SEA won’t cover”.  I thought to myself "are you kidding?  CHI is terrible; no way SEA can’t cover 3.5 points”

Gotta hand it to whoever that woman was.  She had it nailed.

It's been revealed that Sirianni told Ertz that his YAC sucks and Ertz didn't like it.

I got to tell you being that this is Philadelphia and the reputation they have of being tough and talking trash that I figured more fans would like Sirianni for talking a little.  When he got hired you heard about him being extremely competitive even with the simplest of things.

I think he acts this way because he just wants to win badly.  He knows how this city is and how the fans are.  It's weird that fans hate him for being more fiery and talkative than most coaches.  You'd expect Philly to embrace that kind of attitude.  I can see if the team was losing and he was acting up that people would get tired of it.   Fans loved Buddy Ryan and he used to talk a ton of ish and do A-hole things during games.

Player safety, but money for the NFL is more important so they stay.

Only speaking for myself but he comes off more try hard than authentic. He’s been the biggest pandering media figure his whole career. I don’t mind if he’s fiery. Give me more "what the F was that Saleh” Nick that one preseason game and less camera hogging to do a stupid nod during a playoff game Nick.

Context: He dove head first.  It wasn't a 'slide'.    I didn't like the hit either, but let's not change the events.

From the rulebook: "When a runner slides feet or head first or simulates sliding, the ball is dead the instant he touches the ground with anything other than his hands or his feet, or begins to simulate touching the ground."

Let's understand the rules.

Thank sweet baby Jesus for Kellen Moore

Thanks for providing that... so the defender was already committed by the time the ball was dead, because no part had hit the ground yet, beyond his hands and feet.  So thanks.  It wasn't a great hit, but it wasn't some dirty hit as many try to portray it.

Here's a crazy idea... stop using the QB as a fundamental piece of the running game and your QB won't take as many hits, leading to a lower probability of a concussion.

Nah.  Ertz put his own contract ahead of the team and it hurt the team.  Thankful for everything Ertz gave but he’s gone now.  I’ll take the side of the folks who are contributing now.

You mean guys like AJ Brown who put his own contract ahead of the Titans team, which is how he became available to the Eagles?

There's a business side to the game, and while we might not like it, we can't be hypocritical about it.

The business side is why we got Barkley, the business side is why we got Brown.  The business side is why Reddick is gone.  Ertz isn't unique, and the Eagles aren't clean in their dealings with players either.  Both sides are operating within the rules of the CBA to do what is in their own self interest.  But with a limiting earning window, you can't really fault the players for trying to maximize their earnings.

It’s really not about which side to take.  Not to me at least. For me, it’s about having to listen to opinions about the Eagles head coach who has repeatedly put himself in emotional situations where he does things, trivial as some may be, that most head coaches have enough control to avoid in the first place.  If he does not have the self-control to make the proper decisions in emotional times after a game, it makes me wonder if he has it during critical times within a game.

Yup.  And how many years ago was Ertz traded?  Why is Sirianni still worried about that?

Be a grown up, a professional and act professionally, respectfully and maturely.  He seems incapable.

Then he lectures players about self control when he has none. We have an immature head coach.

Bingo.  He has no leg to stand on... and unlike the players, he's not out there in the midst of it.  He's a bystander.  He's supposed to be the grown up in the room.  Pathetic.

I say this with all the sincerity I have in me: if we truly cared about player safety in football there would be no football.  4, 7, 13 day rest doesn't matter.  The game is so physically brutal, the athletes so large, strong, and aggressive,  each game is laughing at player safety.

He takes the heat off the players, for better or worse.

#4 is clearly leading with his helmet and smashes Hurts's head into the ground.

I think that's who he is.  The game and competition get the best of him sometimes.   I don't think it's an act.  He's been criticized for it already more than once.  If it was an act or he was a "try hard" he would have stopped after the criticism.  I don't think he can help it.

Frankie Luvu

I hope next time we play them that Becton or Mailata lay that guy out as hard as they can.

Shaping up to be a pretty solid class with him, Nix, and Daniels
