I would go live with Ana de Armas and cook for her. I hope she likes grilled cheese and cereal without milk. Where does your sister apply for those jobs?

Yes...but according to Alpha you then deserve to be smacked upside the head with a frying pan and then get Hypotnused with a strap on! And honestly not sure how she got the gig when she did.....probably through a referral. She's since moved on from vegan chef to like a whole new level of like holistic healing.

He's got 6/8 rushing TDs for 1yd that are likely the sneak this year

Looks like he had 11/14 rushing TDs for 1yd that are likely the sneak last year

3 of them were from beyond 1 yard.

The only way McKee is resigning here is if there is a chance to start, which would require moving off Hurts. Which is basically impossible until after the 2026 season (a post June 1 trade could happen this offseason and be managed cap wise). We traded McNabb and extended Kolb at the same time. No way McKee locks himself into a backup role if he has the desire to start in this league.

If they flame out this postseason and they could find someone to take hurts it would be crazy, but depending on the return could be worth it. Imagine getting 2 1sts and then some for hurts, rolling with McKee on a cheap deal to offset the dead cap, and firing patullo.

I wonder how many of those 30 TDs were Tush Pushes. Yes they count for 6 points same as a passing TD. I doubt those other QBs have as many rushing TDs.

See this is how it works. People who have to wonder about things like this lack the ability to find pro football reference.

https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/H/HurtJa00/touchdowns/

Here is Josh Allen:

https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/H/HurtJa00/touchdowns/

Allen has 12 rushing TDs of 1 yard the last 2 years. Hurts has 16.

Stafford has 1 total rushing TD in the last 9 years because he is an inferior athlete.

Every one of them counts for 6 points as you mentioned but still needed to ponder.

Are you going to come up with some mental gymnastics that say 12 is great but 16 is a crutch?

Do we need to reevaluate if Marcus Allen belongs in the Hall because of those 56 TDs of 1 yard? (oh hey, another SB MVP)

How stupid do you need to get?

Do you also wonder how many Stafford TDs are 1 yard passes or is it just your team's QB that you hate?

7 is the answer this year.

Hurts only has 2 TD passes of 1 yard in his career.

Is running for 1 easy but passing for 1 is hard as you ponder your strange reality?

While we are talking distance. Lets go with intended air yards.

https://nextgenstats.nfl.com/stats/passing#average-intended-yards

Hurts is always in the top 10 range, even in 2021. So if its important for TD plays then it must be for other plays.

If we are talking that 1 yard rushes are some easy button then here is a difficulty stat: Completion % over expected.

https://nextgenstats.nfl.com/stats/passing/2021/REG/all#completionPercentageAboveExpectation

Hurts is 9th this year and was 1st last year. He was 6th in 2023 and 8th in 2022.

He was 20th as a first year starter in 2021. (SB Stafford was 21st as a 13 year vet)

Stafford was 15th in 2022, 37th in 2023, 27th in 2024. That guy is mediocre.

Stafford is 3rd this year at 9.1. Hurts is at 9.0.

Stafford does not have special touch or special feel. He does not read defenses like a master.

He just peaks when he has a really good team around him. (3 times in 17 years)

If you are going to value depth of TD pass then Hurts is going to be up there with the all-time greats.

If you are only going to value depth of runs its because you have a weird agenda.

It always comes down to the same thing. Hurts remains a great QB no matter how ignorant you are.

You're right. I miscounted. He's got 5/8 1yd rushing TDs from the sneak

Just got the notification we're going to rest some starters. I thought there was still a chance to get a higher seed? Interesting

If I didn't think there was like a 90% chance the Bears beat the Lions, I would say this is a mistake. A divisional round matchup in Philly instead of Chicago is big, and I'd much rather play Green Bay in the first round than the Rams/49ers.

Which counts as much and is hated on by fans by no reason. Especially when we see us try to run with a RB from the goal line or a 3rd or 4th and short situation and get stuffed in the backfield. Look all around the league and teams stumbling on 4th down. We've become that team more this year as we have gotten away from the tush push.

They showed some nice fakes early in the season. I have been saying all year with the push tush being stopped more they should just run different crap out of that formation to free it up. Run 60-70 real tush pushes and 30-40 fakes every time out of that formation. Make it a near half number where teams genuinely will have to guess and play it differently, all the while allowing other playmakers on offense to break off a big play like Saquon's first big run of the year on a fake tush push.

I don't hate them. I just don't like when anyone combines rushing and passing stats to make a QB look better. I'm actually for keeping the sneak. Though I wish they ran more fakes with it to keep teams guessing

I like the way #87 on Miami run blocks

Did you happen to catch what record of Devonta that Jeremiah (Ohio St) may be breaking or if he already has?

If Miami can keep this up they will have run through the toughest road to win it all. They can compete against Georgia, that’s gonna be a fun game. I didn’t believe they were this good, defensively yes, offensively? Making some noise as a 10 seed.

Say what you will, he’s got his demons but he is passionate about his football. I’ll take him over Drew Pearson’s fake a$$.

Happy New Year Guys. Here's to continued success for our team in 2026. In retrospect 2025 has been a fantastic year even with Patullo lol

Why does one have to take either one?
