I'm hoping Lemon is the WR to unlock 2024 Hurts rather than 2025 Hurts.

I'd rather 2022 but I'm picky

I'm starting to feel like Buddy is in charge again with the deprioritization on oline.

Is Johnny Wilson the only WR over 6’0” now?

Wicks

Devonta Smith was one of the most productive, dominant, and ready to plug in for anyone anywhere WRs in ncaa history.

I’m not sure he’s evidence the eagles have "figured out” how to draft and develop WRs. We know the endless parade of busts before him. And I’d wager we are in for more of that. Their track record with physically and explosively underwhelming WRs is abysmal.

I think the problem with the pick is really more fit than talent. I am not sure how you get the most out of Smith when Lemon is pretty exclusively a slot WR. It’s like when we traded for Golden Tate when we had Agholor.

I see him as an 800 yard 8td for 10 ypc receiver at his peak.

So you agree it's a good pick.

Buckle up for when Howie drafts another in round 2

Well...we all expect it to be a 1st next. Hope it's not 31 this year

Almost 1900 yards and a Heisman is a different kind of plug and play though.

He smells like a slot and needs to be in motion to get freed up. If that is what he is, then the Eagles moving up to get him at 20 will be second guessed forever. We will see....hoping for the best.

Philly Special guys love the pick and think he's a great fit. OK

Seemed like more fans thought they'd take a different WR. But good hands, slot weapon, opens things up.

Mannion will be spreading the ball around.

We still need to beef up O line.

Wait, what? Have you ever watched Smith?

I don’t see Devonta as a slot though. I know they use him there but he’s an outside guy IMO.

I thought he was really scheme dependent, and I’m not sure this was the scheme for him.

I kind of think mannion with Gb probably sees him as potentially being like their Jayden Reed. They are nearly identical in heigh (both basically 5’11), nearly same weight (187 vs 192), same arm length and hands both close to 9. Reed ran a 4.45 and lemon ran a 4.47. I am not saying they are the same player but i could see mannion viewing him in this offense as their Reed

That’s a good return for #20 overall? How much is AJ worth then?

Smith is that guy…he’s been our WR1 for all but 1 year that he’s been here.

What the hell is with the Steve Wonder stuff

Ok

Is Lemon a WR they can use outside the slot in versatile ways?

Alright. Watchd his career highlights. Was really lost at first because he is so small. But what I like more than his versatility and after the catch ability is he seems to have an elite level of concentration/tracking and catching ability. But he is just so damn small. Like a Darren Sproles version of WR. Can be moved all over offensively, return punts and has a lot of natural ability and talent but has been cursed with small size. They are banking that he will be able to make it despite his size like Sproles was at RB but man he is so small of a WR trade up to take in the 1st round of the draft when he doesn't have 4.3 speed.

I hope he does that for every interview.

Yep. But if we want to play a lot of 12 personnel, I’m not sure that’s worth this trade up.

😭😭😭
