Look at the Jets killing this draft

They're the farm team for other teams. Suck, pick high, trade the players for picks because they won't sign a 2nd contract. Rinse, repeat.

Jacas, Dunker, Klare, Kilgore

2 out of those 4 would be nice tomorrow

Reed has averaged 619 yards per season over his three years -- I certainly hope they see him as a whole level different type of player.

In fairness Reed didn’t stay healthy this year it’s why his average is low. As a rookie he had 64 receptions for 793 yards and 8 tds in 16 games. His second year he had 55 receptions for 857 yards and 6 tds. This year he got hurt and played just 7 games where he had 19 receptions for 207 yards. He was never healthy from training camp. He actually had two injuries.

That said lemon is also a significantly better prospect than what Reed was

I really like the pick. Lemon was consistently in the 11-15 range on multiple rankings. Great value at #20 in a shallow first round.

For real though, they all looked great.

Hes not that’s fair. Neither is Lemon, nor will he ever be.

The hope is that he's Puka, Reed, St-Brown.

There is a world he's just Juwan Jennings.

This look was needed after Dean gone.

And if the Steelers wanted him then we know 2 things.

  1. He's good. They are good picking WRs.

  2. He's a headcase. They always pick headcase WRs

It doesn't require a big arm, see Montana, et al.

Just the smarts to recognize who coming open quickly.

Cool who’s the qb we are getting for that?

The thing I always go back to with AJ Brown is this, the line of demarcation with him and the Eagles was always at the end of 2026 and the 2027 off-season. He needed a new contract at that point because he only had $4 million guaranteed left on his contract and he was 30. So he was always going to ask for an extension and try to get one so we could cash out on one last big payday. So at that point in time I don’t see the Eagles at 30 years old, declining and having knee issues giving him an extension. So this was always coming to a head after 2026.

Even with all the tampering that people wanna talk about, the eagle might also look at this as can get out a year early than a year too late and be compensated nicely for it. If he plays in 2026, where he’s not happy or he gets hurt or declines even more we are going to get less than what we could’ve now. To me it kind of makes some sense after June 1 for the eagle to move off him now if you could get better compensation now than a year from now even if he could be great in 2026

Yup. The contract aspect is what most people don’t recognize. Zach Ertz let his contract get in the way and his attitude suffered; his Eagles tenure did not end well. Brown will tick off a lot more people if he lingers here another year. There is no way Howie is giving another mega extension to a WR reading a book on the sidelines and giving other passive-aggressive signals.

It's a typical Howie pick the last few years. Targeting good talent that fell. Ideal fit? Maybe not, but he's got a lot of skill. Shocking at first, but a good pick.

Best thing I can say about Lemon, and a legitimate one, is that the Steelers wanted to draft him.

If the Steelers were on the clock then how did we jump and take him??

Guess you can say took out a insurance policy on lemon

Anyone else kinda like RGIII as an analyst?
