I see him as an 800 yard 8td for 10 ypc receiver at his peak.

I think the problem with the pick is really more fit than talent. I am not sure how you get the most out of Smith when Lemon is pretty exclusively a slot WR. It’s like when we traded for Golden Tate when we had Agholor.

Smith is leagues better on the outside than Algholor ever was. I don’t really see the connection tbh.

Is Lemon a WR they can use outside the slot in versatile ways?

He can play the Z (Smith’s best position) or play anywhere if we’re in condensed splits. He is not an X.

No idea where they're gonna get Lane's successor. But at this point I hope they just forego OT going forward given the lack of hit rate after round 1. Go Edge or TE round 2.

Well, they weren’t going to get him in the 2026 draft, certainly at 23. Bad OT draft. I strongly suspect that Lane’s successor is on the roster already in Williams. Quite possible Steen’s successor is too in Hinton. Some solid IOL candidates tomorrow.

I hope he does that for every interview.

We love judging football talent based on initial interviews.

Doug: said "gosh" - how can he be a leader of men?

Nick: looked nervous - how can he be a coach?

Can? Yes.

But he’s definitely a guy you want in the slot. That’s his best fit and role.

Oh, cherie amour, pretty little one that I adore

Goodness. Nice trade by SF.

So....we could've sat at 23 and taken a stud safety that people thought we'd have to trade up to get?

unsure

That’s a good return for #20 overall? How much is AJ worth then?

A 30 yr old malcontent making big money with a bum knee that throws tantrums on the sideline for years while his team is blowing their opponents out?

Not sure.

That would have been my choice, but I trust Howie. Bit scary because is he Smith or is he another crappy WR, but I'll trust him.

I’ve said this for a while, I think the Eagles like Williams way more than people think. They basically took him late, but the messaging was he would’ve been a first or second round pick if he when back to school. I think the Eagles believe giving him time that he can be a starting caliber tackle with time. I think if they don’t see any type of jump this year in practice and camps then i think they begin to look for Lane’s replacement in 2027 draft.

Agree on Hinton. I think he is being groomed to be steen’s replacement

Disregard the AJ comment and look at all that green.

Lemon is better than anyone that has gone since his pick. Some of these dudes are 2nd rounders.

Not all draft classes are created equal. But getting a WR2 in the 2nd half of the first round means we'll get proper return.

WR2 are getting 20M/Y and climbing. He'll get an average of 4-5M over his 4 year contract. If he's an average starting WR, the value is there.

I think he can be Manion’s Debo.

I thought Max Iheanachor could be that guy. Not guaranteed, but he has the physical talent to be a really good OT. I’m betting he was the back up plan.
