Using that train of thought i guess they should cut Brooks too.

I'll bite there.  After 2 achilles injuries, they are not going to enjoy the cap hit for the balance of that contract.

I would say we go max protect that neuters our advantage at the TE spot

guess the rbs will have to pickup and chip

or catch a bunch of screens

Losing argument if you rely on a hypothetical downside to bolster it

plus hightower is not slow either. I would love to prop bet he scores week 1

So Desean's injury issues entering a season in which he turns 34 are a "hypothetical downside"???????  Wow.

I guess getting burnt is a hypothetical downside to playing with fire.

We really cant count on DeSean as he has shown he misses games every year.

Last year he didnt need to miss 14 or 15 games though.  If he had his surgery early in the year he could have been back and wouldn't have missed so many games.

Miles Sanders is not Brian Westbrook.  Brian Westbrook was not Marshall Faulk.  And Marshall Faulk was not a probowl WR.

Leaning on a couple broken wheel routes per month from Sanders as justification that we have passing weapons is really doing Wentz a disservice.

Actually, I think the Eagles have some pretty good receivers out of the backfield and if we ever get to see Warren play, on the PS too.

Little know fact....

10:10 is the most common time used by watch and clock advertisers.  (And the Apple emojis.)

It resembles a smile and suggests happiness.

If the O-line is going to struggle pass protecting then DP needs to pound the ball with his RBs.

Whenever the Eagles establish their run game they usually win or are in a good position to win.

Dont tell him that.  RBs don't count as receivers.

Your safety argument disproves your own point...

yes good safties can compensate for lesser corners especially in some systems

they all work together as a unit. Just like wr te and rb

Yeah but what if we had good players at WR too... that way they could make the TEs and RBs better too.... 😀

So I’m not counting on it but if Alshon can be 2018 Alshon... that’d be huge. This offense was at it’s best when he was making plays down the field to go along with a strong north/south run game.

So who is the backup? Sudfeld?

If I had to guess Sudfeld would be in game backup. If Carson is out for awhile, Hurts

Speaking of 40 times, I see you found the clock they used to time JJAW and Ward in camp.

I thought they used a calendar.

Just because I’m obsessed with TE3, I’m curious if we attempted to sign the Temple product to the 53 man roster. He got called up pretty quickly.

We can dress up to 48 if at least 8 are OL.  Burnett and Wilson would be the allowed PS elevations.  Wallace/Taylor would be the last player.

Wentz, Sudfeld, Hurts
Sanders, Scott, Clement
Ertz, Goedert, Wilson
Jackson, JJAW, Ward, Hightower, Burnett
Peters, Seumalo, Kelce, Pryor, Johnson, Herbig, Mailata, TBD

Cox, Hargrave, Jackson, Ridgeway
Graham, Burnett, Sweat, Curry
Gerry, Edwards, Riley, Singleton, Bradley
Slay, Maddox, NRC, LeBlanc, James
McLeod, Mills, Epps, Ford, Wallace

Elliot, Johnston, Lovato

Driscoll inn place of TBD. If Avery is healthy, in place of Wallace.  If not, Toohill.  Not sure I buy Wilson. Is he ready for the ST role?  If not, Taylor.

On a separate note, what does everyone think of Huntley?

A 5th round pick via waivers at a position in need of depth is a nice value proposition.

Booker clone.  Needs about ten pounds.

He already gained 10 pounds. If he gains another 10 he might lose the one thing that made him a prospect.

This three-week IR spot is pretty nice. The NFL should keep it.

It's in every team's best interest, in terms of the on-field product.

Cheap owners likely hate it.

Yup.  On the same play Desean and JP go down.

my realistic record 5-11 or 6-10, too many injuries, lost alot of talent accept getting slay but that's not enough.
