June 1Jun 1 Curious if the Rams did end up trading for AJ Brown if it Garrett would still be a Brown.(Or a Cowboy)

If the rams don’t win a SB next 2 years and stafford retires that trade looks worse especially if verse at 25 keeps improving. Imo this deal is dependent on them winning a SB

June 1Jun 1 Guys, it's all part of the plan. Now the Rams can trade us Garrett for Brown.I'm curious how long before someone seriously suggests that

When they couldn’t get a deal done that they and Cleveland liked that they moved to greenard. Once that trade happened they moved on from the Garrett dream. That said if Cleveland cannot get an extension done with verse down the road, i wonder if the eagles become players in that market.
June 1Jun 1 It’s a shame we couldn’t get in on Garrett because we are waiting until 4 pm to talk to teams about AJ Brown.
June 1Jun 1 I would have said yes to Nolan Smith or HuntI'm glad Howie walked away when Carter was brought up. I think his potential is just too high

Cool.In three years the Rams might be a much worse team for having made this trade but over that 2-3 year window they just got WAY better and this is bad for the Eagles and every team in the NFC.

June 1Jun 1 I would not have been happy with a Garrett trade. The guy is 30 and will be 31 during the season(the end of the season but still). He's an incredible player, but I'm just not a fan of giving up hauls for guys post 30. What are the odds that Garrett's next 3 years are as good as his last 3?The Eagles defense is already going to be so expensive. The money distribution has been askew in recent years with too much money going to the offense. That's about to flip and it needs to be more balanced.Need to save their picks for a QB because if Hurts doesn't have a good year, they will need one starting next offseason and that will be priority 1, 2, 3, and 4.I want to build a sustainable winner and I don't even think the Eagles are going to be that good anyway because the offense sucks and this does nothing to help the offense. Also the Rams are up against it with Stafford close to retirement. The Eagles are on a different timeline.

I think his potential is just too highI’d have liked to keep hunt tbh. I think hunt is going to take another step in his development this year. Plus long term it gives us a good pass rusher. I get it for Garrett that you do it. I’d have preferred smith as i think he’s gone when his contract is up.

June 1Jun 1 1 minute ago, ManuManu said:That’s a pretty nice haul for the browns. Verse (assuming they eventually sign him long term after 2026) plus 1st, 2nd in 2028, 3rd in 2029. That is a nice amount of ammo and got a pass rusher whomay be one of the best in the league long term
June 1Jun 1 4 minutes ago, ManuManu said:That is the trade the Browns finally pull the trigger on for MG? The Rams FN stole him. To get him for Verse and only one first is crazy. I thought for sure the "and more" would include a future first round pick, not a 2nd and 3rd. The Cowboys got more for Micah Parsons.

Hunt is likely here long term. But really not much after that. So I’m guessing over the next 2 years we are trying to find another pass rusher
