I don't think the Eagles will make the playoffs but the one game I will guarantee they win is the Rams game. Lock that one in #NeverWrong

I’d laugh if verse doesn’t sign an extension with Cleveland and asks for a trade out of Cleveland next offseason or the following offseason

My prediction is Garret has a down year

Curious if the Rams did end up trading for AJ Brown if it Garrett would still be a Brown.

(Or a Cowboy)

Giants collecting trash WR's today

It's like in 2010 when the R-words signed Larry Johnson and Willie Parker.

I think they traded for another scrub at QB too......

It was going to be really hard to repeat a 23 sack season lol. If the rams don’t win a SB next 2 years and stafford retires that trade looks worse especially if verse at 25 keeps improving. Imo this deal is dependent on them winning a SB

Curious if Carter and Pats 2028 first was on the table for Myles G..

Reporters said the Rams were the only team pushing for a trade, they didn't want to trade him but the Rams kept pushing and offering Verse sealed it.

No reports that the Eagles were involved.

Pfft. You think they didn't offer Nolan Smith and a 5th?

Guys, it's all part of the plan. Now the Rams can trade us Garrett for Brown.

I'm curious how long before someone seriously suggests that

Tbh i believe the eagles probably tried earlier in the offseason. When they couldn’t get a deal done that they and Cleveland liked that they moved to greenard. Once that trade happened they moved on from the Garrett dream. That said if Cleveland cannot get an extension done with verse down the road, i wonder if the eagles become players in that market.

It’s a shame we couldn’t get in on Garrett because we are waiting until 4 pm to talk to teams about AJ Brown.

I would have said yes to Nolan Smith or Hunt

I'm glad Howie walked away when Carter was brought up. I think his potential is just too high

I'd rather have Verse over Garrett and this stage of their careers

So you'd rather have the guy with 7.5 sacks than the guy with 23 sacks? Cool.

In three years the Rams might be a much worse team for having made this trade but over that 2-3 year window they just got WAY better and this is bad for the Eagles and every team in the NFC.

Yeah. I think I'd rather keep a 25 year old Jalen Carter, than trade to get a 30 year old Myles Garrett.

I would not have been happy with a Garrett trade.

The guy is 30 and will be 31 during the season(the end of the season but still). He's an incredible player, but I'm just not a fan of giving up hauls for guys post 30. What are the odds that Garrett's next 3 years are as good as his last 3?

The Eagles defense is already going to be so expensive. The money distribution has been askew in recent years with too much money going to the offense. That's about to flip and it needs to be more balanced.

Need to save their picks for a QB because if Hurts doesn't have a good year, they will need one starting next offseason and that will be priority 1, 2, 3, and 4.

I want to build a sustainable winner and I don't even think the Eagles are going to be that good anyway because the offense sucks and this does nothing to help the offense. Also the Rams are up against it with Stafford close to retirement. The Eagles are on a different timeline.

I’d have liked to keep hunt tbh. I think hunt is going to take another step in his development this year. Plus long term it gives us a good pass rusher. I get it for Garrett that you do it. I’d have preferred smith as i think he’s gone when his contract is up.

Curious what the "more" is in the Garrett trade

If it isn't something significant that's a terrible trade for the Browns. Verse is a really good player but he isn't in the same galaxy as MG.

That’s a pretty nice haul for the browns. Verse (assuming they eventually sign him long term after 2026) plus 1st, 2nd in 2028, 3rd in 2029. That is a nice amount of ammo and got a pass rusher who

may be one of the best in the league long term

I don’t agree with the valuation of Verse = Two 1s, but I think a 1+ is fair.

That is the trade the Browns finally pull the trigger on for MG? The Rams FN stole him. To get him for Verse and only one first is crazy. I thought for sure the "and more" would include a future first round pick, not a 2nd and 3rd. The Cowboys got more for Micah Parsons.
