Unless the line is a train wreck, this season is on Hurts and Nick if it fails. They are the constants.

Since it’s Men’s Mental Health Awareness Month, I wanted to say something that’s been on my mind. Most of us spend a lot of time talking about football, our families, work, hobbies, and whatever else

The guy only has so much to work with with Hurts. Do I think he can do well? As someone who doesn't like the guy at all....I'm hopeful...yeah. Do I think an actual QB would do better than an aging guy who may not be able to rely on his legs as much? Absolutely. Based on the system and all the offensive talent it's on Hurts to get it done, though. No excuses. Yeah, the OL may have issues, but he has more offensive talent across the board than all but maybe 2 or 3 teams... and I'm not sure there are even that many.

I can already envision the spinning people will do in here to defend Hurts if he sucks again.

Is it too late to bring Carson Strong back? The irony of Hurts career being book ended by a pair of NDSU QBs is also not lost on me.

Update on Carson Strong, he's a Assistant/QB Coach for Northern State University in South Dakota. He bounced around from IR to IR before finally acknowledging his knee was toast and retiring.

I can imagine the same if he is good. Stacked offense, great defense, let's see him do it again...

He sounds like the OL version of Q in this article

Whats fun in and around philly for families? Im not looking for a history tour at the moment. More along the lines of Netflix House, and other fun stuff.

Please touch museum (though IIRC your kids might be a bit old), Franklin institute, the armor room in the Art museum is worth the price of admission, Reading Terminal Market. I’ve heard amazing things about Beat the Bomb and Sandbox Vr looks intriguing.

The aquarium in jersey was really fun. Right across the bridge.

Yeah my kids are old for please touch me museum now.

I was looking at beat the bomb! That does look cool.

I actually just went for netflix house. We have been wanting to go. Got tickets for wednesday, and stranger things virtual reality.

Thanks for the recs!

The main purpose of this trip is to go to Del Rossis but I said we need something else to do in philly. I dont want to drive there, eat and go home.

Next question- cool book stores? Not barnes and noble. Mom and pop types? Even if its used books. Anything like that? Suddenly at 41 years old my wife has developed a raging reading hobby.

So much certainty in your post for what is completely unknown at this point. There's also as good of a chance (if not more) that the offense looks exactly like the dreck that was last season.

I am one of the bigger Hurts critics on the board.

Between the line's durability concerns, Goedert's durability concerns...there is a scenario where an offense once considered a QB's dream (where many, myself included, argued that any QB would look incredible here) suddenly transitions into an offense that drags down the QB with minimal weapons and one legitimate pass catcher.

If that happens, Hurts is a goner anyway, as he'll get caught up in the wash of rebuilding the offense. But it might not be his fault.

Do you believe in the possibility of Devonta Smith having an offensive player of the year caliber season?

Mutter museum. Not what you’re asking for but it’s not what you aren’t asking for either.
