May 7May 7 McShay and his buddy chose their favorite pick from each round. Two of McShay’s favorites were Cole Payton and Micah Morris. With Payton, he kept saying "just watch.” With Morris, he mentioned there was "some stuff there” as in character concerns and left it at that. He said he has the potential to be a really good starting guard if he joins the right program/room.

Late to team meetings type of stuff.Payton reminds me a bit of Riley Leonard from last year. Athletic, tough guy, gamer type of QB that you want on your team even if he isnt a great passer right now, or maybe ever. But hopefully.

May 8May 8 This also makes it more obvious that new England views the future first as less valuable. No team is willing to give their current first. New England is not selling to give it either. And, they're getting more in return. If Brown had more value, we would be getting a current first. And giving nothing back.
May 8May 8 The collective brain trust and opinion of the blog started at a far richer price at the beginning of the offseason. Everyone said they’ll never get less and Howie would be crazy to take less. And that price keeps getting widdled further and further down. AJ wants out and the Eagles moved on with their roster construction. We have zero leverage. Howie won’t move off a 2028 1st but I absolutely believe he might have to kick in other value to get it.

And we just spent more draft capital on Lemon than we’ll get in return for Brown…so it doesn’t exactly make sense to throw Lemon onto the pine just to not trade Brown because we held out for more.

F them, let them go into the season with boutte and nothing else at WR. Sure AJ wants out, who cares. Let him pout on the bench
May 8May 8 Reporters have an easy topic for clicks & views. Just speculate about trade terms every couple days.

He’s a slot receiver. Brown is a split end. Smith is a flanker. They would be a FANTASTIC and complimentary trio.
