McShay and his buddy chose their favorite pick from each round. Two of McShay’s favorites were Cole Payton and Micah Morris. With Payton, he kept saying "just watch.” With Morris, he mentioned there was "some stuff there” as in character concerns and left it at that. He said he has the potential to be a really good starting guard if he joins the right program/room.

    A 2028 1 is more valuable than a 2027 2.

Thanks for that. Now I know exactly what will creep into my brain next time I'm giving Mrs. Hutpenis the old in out in out.

Yeah well it’ll only be about a 15 second call

we knew when he was drafted his shelf life wasn’t very long. The what if’s are more about Fultz and Simmons than Embiid.

Now imagine him with Butler and Halliburton…

Its been said that Morris has traits of a much higher pick but its his work ethic that was the issue. Late to team meetings type of stuff.

Payton reminds me a bit of Riley Leonard from last year. Athletic, tough guy, gamer type of QB that you want on your team even if he isnt a great passer right now, or maybe ever. But hopefully.

good lord

This here is a take.

Lol

Stars forward Rantanen finished season with torn MCL

No big deal. Embiid is the same way.

Just find another trade partner, Howie.

That’s almost word for word what McLane said on Monday

So not only a future first instead of a current first, but also a pick or additional player going to them as well in a package deal.

Bad trade for us. Just keep him or find a different partner.

This also makes it more obvious that new England views the future first as less valuable.

No team is willing to give their current first.

New England is not selling to give it either. And, they're getting more in return.

If Brown had more value, we would be getting a current first. And giving nothing back.

They’re all just making crap up Howie will never accept that little.

WIP is just making it all up. AJ Brown won’t be traded.

The collective brain trust and opinion of the blog started at a far richer price at the beginning of the offseason. Everyone said they’ll never get less and Howie would be crazy to take less.

And that price keeps getting widdled further and further down.

AJ wants out and the Eagles moved on with their roster construction. We have zero leverage. Howie won’t move off a 2028 1st but I absolutely believe he might have to kick in other value to get it.

What do you mean we have zero leverage?

Brown is under contract and there are multiple known bidders (Rams and Pats).

We can’t conceivably not trade him unless we want to invite a TO situation. And we just spent more draft capital on Lemon than we’ll get in return for Brown…so it doesn’t exactly make sense to throw Lemon onto the pine just to not trade Brown because we held out for more.

Howie would be stupid to take anything that sends another pick and player back to new England. F them, let them go into the season with boutte and nothing else at WR. Sure AJ wants out, who cares. Let him pout on the bench

Reporters have an easy topic for clicks & views. Just speculate about trade terms every couple days.

They have the coveted entity. Thats the leverage.

Why would we bench Lemon assuming we ended up keeping Brown? He’s a slot receiver. Brown is a split end. Smith is a flanker.

They would be a FANTASTIC and complimentary trio.

Have you seen new Patriots helmets?

They call it:"the Patriot way"
