That is the team that is almost too obvious now to go completely sideways this season along with the Patriots. The Golden Boy HC with the Golden Boy QB and now the Goldne Boy OC. Watch that offense end up being the weakness of the team again.

Trade up for a slot receiver who will ultimately get about 2 targets a game? Then use the next pick on a TE who is essentially a big slot? Brown is gone. I have little doubt that the trade is already in place.

May 9May 9 Recently had this convo with a friend…Top 5 athletes of your lifetime. I don’t remember anything before the early 90s so I’m starting there. Mine… Michael Jordan (easy number 1)Tiger WoodsSerena Williams Michael PhelpsBarry BondsHonorable mentions were Tom Brady, Usain Bolt, and Messi. Can probably throw Federer in there.

I would also have Kobe Bryant as HM. Bonds was a great ball player, without the steroid scandal. The perjury and obstruction indictments that came from that just eliminate him from consideration for me.

Number 1 obviously goes to Ali.

Woods for the same reason, unless we believe all his accumulated injuries can be attributed to picking up random skanks at Applebee’s.Federer isn’t even as accomplished (or as good) as Nadal and Djokovic, two of his contemporaries. Pete Sampras was also better, IMO. Serena Williams is perhaps a top 5 women’s player. Navratilova, Evert and Graf were all better, and Margaret Smith-Court has the most all-time grand slam singles titles, while having to go through Billie-Jean King and Evert to do it. Williams bested her sister and Maria Sharapova, for the most part.

People think you just shoot up and instantly turn into captain America… you still have to train like crazy. I don’t think we’ll see any baseball player ever again get intentionally walked with the bases loaded. Bonds’ numbers are just freakish. That’s why I put him in.

No different than Lance Armstrong, Marion Jones, FloJo and Brady.Ken Griffey Jr. is the best all-around baseball player I’ve ever watched, and he managed to do it while clean (ostensibly)
