May 7May 7 Based on the video they tried to get up for several picks before Dallas. Possibly as high as 15 or 16 to get Lemon. So the speculation that Proctor was the OT they wanted and weren't as into the other OTs who went after(Miller, Freeling, etc) is probably correct.
May 7May 7 Wow. Quentin Grimes really stinks. Just taking up space out there. Plays out of control. And misses bunnies left and right. Waiting for him to make any kind of impact.

Dont act like this stuff doesnt happen all the time.It doesnt mean hes doing big time things here because he has a big title. They made him part coach last year for heaven's sake. They didn't even create a full pretend scout role for him. It was more like, try this maybe this is something you can be good at instead.Delusional.

He’s weak minded, has no leadership ability, gets hurt scratching his eyebrows, and is generally a complete POS.

May 7May 7 Wonder if they consider Clint the heir to be now (if they don't intend on going Schwartz next year).
May 7May 7 Maxey playing too many minutes and just missing some plays he normally makes. Barlow looks good. Guarding one through five. Needs to play more minutes going forward.
May 7May 7 Ashame. Winnable game. Went to Barlow too late. Brings defensive energy and connectivity. And Maxey and George ran out of gas. Shots falling short at end. Knicks going nowhere regardless. 😆
May 7May 7 Anunoby may be out with a hamstring injury. Missed 3 weeks during regular season with that one. This series could go 7 games now. New series. They will miss that guy. They can beat this team without him. New weapon should be Barlow getting plenty of minutes at the 1 (defensively) against Brunson and minutes at Backup center. Also, like to give some of Grimes' minutes to Edwards, who isn't as gunshy. Think this series is 2-2 soon without Anunoby. And likely going 7 games. Also, Maxey can't be playing 47 minutes.
May 7May 7 This Eagles draft video wasn't as good as the one from '24 (which was really good) and not even as good as last year's (which was decent). It would have been nice to at least show the Payton and Morris picks but instead they jumped straight to the Bernard pick.

BY FAR the worst one they have put out yet. There was barely any behind the scenes discussions on players or war room stuff. Do better Eagles.

Nurse is just a painful coach. Not terrible, not great, just painful.

I try to watch as many of these types of videos as I can. The Lions in particular do a good job with theirs. Hopefully more will come out in the next couple of weeks.

Like drafting Okafor, signing Horford, signing Tobias to a max, the Tobias trade which basically made it Tobias or butler (they were always choosing Tobias), trading bridges, hiring colangelo, having Brett brown and Elton brand to run the team in a pivotal offseason with very little experience, fultz trade when not everyone in the FO agreed on him, wasting assets that Hinkie built up, letting Isiah joe go, ducking the tax at the deadline instead of adding depth. Bunch of others i didn’t mention. For all of Embiid‘s flaws (and he has them and he’s nowhere near blameless) he still managed to give him 3 years of MVP level play. the Sixers because they were so bad with their decision-making and moves basically wasted it on poor roster construction.

Never once in his career could he be counted on.
May 7May 7 Looking back on the draft now that I've had some time to actually look into these prospects (I only superficially follow college football these days).Lemon. I'm not changing my net opinion here. I stand by the reality that the Eagles have a terrible track record with these types of prospects, specifically at this position. I hate the fit into the rest of the offense and hate the ratio of upside/talent to draft capital expended. That said, I get it why many like him. It's clear the kid can play football and get open. He's shift, elusive, and should lock down the slot. I have major concerns about congestion in this offense and how a middle of the field slot specialist can really thrive with the current QB situation and, consequently, how he'll ever have the opportunity to live up to that draft status given those constraints. But it would be great if he is as fun to watch in the pros as he was in college.Stowers. His athleticism is incredible. My excitement over the pick at the time is now tempered by how tricky his utilization will be (See the above concerns about Lemon and now throw in a 12 personnel offense to congest the offense further). If he can progress as a blocker OR if Mannion can be very creative with how to utilize him (or if they find a WR to really terrorize defenses deep and soften them up...but that's not happening)....then his utilization and the spacing of the offense (to borrow the basketball term) improves dramatically. Still, an exciting pick with upside.Bell. This is where the Eagles started to draft for need and I'm all for it. I would have gone Iheanachor round 1 and a slot WR round 3 in a deep WR draft. But if they didn't like Iheanachor, then so be it. The path to 2026 playing time on the OL isn't great, but beyond that, they are desperate. They don't need backups. They need starters long term. So swing for the fences with someone that has +starter upside but is available because they are a very unique prospect that isn't ready. They did that with not one, not two, but 3 OL on draft weekend. Even if they all fail, it was a smart approach and the right thing to do. Win or lose, great pick.(5th round). Payton. Meh. I like that he's from a small school. IMO, big conference QB's already have professional quality coaching...so if they aren't going top 10 there probably isn't much there. In the old days, some diamonds in the rough get stuck as backups behind other elite talents, but now they just transfer to other big problems. So these smaller schools are one of the last remaining places for QBs with upside to hide. That said, he's got a hitch in his delivery and isn't a jaw dropping arm talent. So round 5 feels a little rich for a completely raw, athletic small school QB that isn't a physical prototype. But whatever. (6th round). Morris. See Bell selection. Love it.(7). Wisniewski. Nothing to dislike about a refined prospect at a position of need at this point in the draft. (7). Uar. Most fun pick of the draft and reassuring to know that Howie is the GM that makes other fans clench their fists and say "of course he drafted him." Again, win or lose, it was a smart play.(7).Newby. Sure. The next Patrick Johnson. Upside is something like quality edge #4 in a rotation and that's just fine.UDFA bonus: G Jaeden Roberts. See Bell and Morris.Overall, this was a meh draft board to work with. There's a real chance they end up with a sac fly and a fielders choice at the top of the draft rather than base hits or better...and that's not really fun to contemplate. But it's only fair to wait and see with how Mannion utilizes these chess pieces on offense and how Hurts responds. There is certainly potential to surprise. I think they deserve major points for mining the depths of a lousy OL draft class and somehow emerging with 3 majorly intriguing, asymmetrically talented starter upside prospects at low cost. For our needs, that's worth more than drafting the most proven plug and play SEC OL on the draft board in the mid/late rounds who we all already know never will be / should be more than a prime backup.

Probably at X at this point. Wanted Bryce Lance. Now we have to wait for Henry Ruggs to get out of jail.
