Since it’s Men’s Mental Health Awareness Month, I wanted to say something that’s been on my mind. Most of us spend a lot of time talking about football, our families, work, hobbies, and whatever else

Let's see if Eagles can make it 2 of 2 wins in joint practices.

I’m in the camp where I don’t mind if Hurts sees an increase in interceptions this season. If he goes from 6 last season to 10 this year, it’s not the end of the world. Because that means he’s being more aggressive and as a result more big plays will come for it.

That's fine if the overall production increases and he doesn't throw a bunch of idiot red zone ints.

Darnold was 25/14 last season. Just over 4,000 yards. That a good target?

Have not made it to Fossil Butte. Lots of other places, but never there. This year our trip home was through Monument Valley, Goodenecks SP, Valley of the Gods, Natural Bridge NP, Utah Routes 95 and 12, Goblin Valley, Bentonite Hills, Factory Butte, Moonscape Overlook, Burr Trail, Hell’s Backbone Groll, and Kiva Koffeehouse. Last year we went home via the Palouse in Eastern Washington. That would have been a great time to take in Fossil Butte. Maybe next year.

Super cool. We did one of those trips 10 years back and made it to Monument which we loved plus a bunch of other places. One little fun spot is Ten Sleep, WY with ranching area and Bighorns just nearby. My college friend has a ranch about 45 mins south of there. Pretty cool part of the world.

Of all the things to complain about with Hurts, ball security isn't one of them. Guy is one of the best in the league in TD:Turnover ratio. He's shown he can be a top tier game manager. I'm completely fine with him taking extra risks in meaningless practices and preseason games because I know when it counts he typically makes good decisions.

Rather see a few more TDs in that case. Hurts had 25 TDs last year and only 6 ints.

Oh year for sure. No issues there. He's been great with that. The only exceptions were the latter part of '23 when everything fell apart and he had to throw it up (not his fault) and then the pre buy games in '24 when he had 4TDs and 4INTs and seemed to force thing a bit.

Courts recognizing the fact that college football has become like the NFL in that it is manned by professional athletes.

I really believe AJ had hamstring issues last year, hence the kid gloves with Smith and Lemon. Quite possible that Nolan pushing through early and aggravating the muscle tear is influencing the Greenard approach.

Is there a coach in the league that delegates this to an assistant? I've never seen anyone other than the coach throw the flag.

New rule this year

Thanks. Missed that. What a weird rule. Not sure who intends to do this aside from circumstances like an injury or something that makes it difficult for them to throw it.

Beginning to like Wicks

Wicks is an excellent receiver...other than drop issues. If he's fixed that he'll be a gem. Even a plus blocker with a mean streak. I'm cautiously (naively) optimistic about him this year, but nothing can kill chemistry like a few bad drops so tbd
