I’m one of the Jihaad Campbell skeptics, shoot me. His instincts are average at best, and that’s the most important trait for his position. Hope he makes me look stupid.

It may be a deal where he is thinking more than just reacting. With reps he should be able to get past that and show more of those instincts. Plus, he played with a shoulder injury last year so we dont know how that affected his aggresiveness

Biggest concern i had last year when Dean was out was his run defense. I think he will be good but i thought (eye test and don’t remember the analytics on it) our run D got better when Dean came back.

Tbh it’s an overblown story at this point. Whether he wanted to be here or not for various reasons. I still expect Aj to have a good season then have issues with the patriots as he wants an extension and more guaranteed money. I think that aspect in all of this is swept under the rug right now. I tend to believe Aj knows the eagles were never restructuring that deal or giving him an extension after 2026 due to who they have to pay and the direction they were going. So he didn’t want to be in a potential offense that struggles to pass and "hurt” his stats when he goes to try to get more $

The Solar Dynamics Observatory has been posting photos of the Sun that are phenomenal. Surface is so much different than I imagined.

This is Brown's super bowl, of course he's going to try his hardest. He didn’t magically turn into a bad receiver, he's just a petulant child. He'll get his 1500 yards while the pats go 7-11 catering to his whims

Howie asked Q to go easy on Brown because he doesn't other GMs to think he just fleeces teams in trades. Otherwise no one will want to do business for him.

I think that's a reasonable take. I wasn't overjoyed with his performance last year either. To be honest, I felt the same way about Mukuba (small, gets bounced around a lot, is inconsistent in his tackling, and seems vulnerable at times in deep coverage).

I still think both have NFL starting ability and I expect them to be decent starters. But I'm not sure I'm seeing greatness out of either one. Like you, I hope to be wrong.

Eagles Oline dominates again.

so, SB bound?

This combined with the OL looking better are reasons for optimism

Cautious optimism. Dickerson being the reason for the caution.

Yup...he is very twitchy with quick feet. He definitely can be effective is small spaces.

Now Jalen needs to be willing to throw into those small spaces.

Yup...it all means nothing other than good opportunities to evaluate. Fangio is entering year three with basically the same group of talent and I can guarantee he is revealing nothing, especially disguising coverages etc....the kind of stuff that would confuse and overwhelm a young QB like may. The offense may struggle a little early, but this should be a really fun team to watch come the middle of October or so.

It is going to be fun watching/experiencing the growing pains as well.

Hot take (really not that hot)…. Wicks has a better year than lemon

Lemon won’t have half the season Wicks has.

Yeah, even with the young guys playing well I wouldn't mind Howie making a trade for a guard. That, TE, and S are my only real concerns.

Which is fine with me. It used to be that WRs took a year or two to develop. With Smith and Wicks there is no pressure on the kid past fans and the media.

lol it's a 1v1 drill and tweeter is acting like it's prime Jerry Rice. Someone just cooked DeJean just as bad the other day.
