The Giants may take a step up, but DC and the Cowboys don't concern me if that happens. Rams/Hawks/49ers can beat the crap out of each other. Bears will be good, but I'm not sold on their QB in big situations just yet (Dak 2.0?). That's about it. They will have to beat one of the teams from the West, which I think they can do. Again, can Cam and Dickerson stay healthy? Can they avoid major injuries, which is true for every contending team? I'm optimistic and not because I'm a fan. Carter, Davis, and Hunt are going to be a handful for any team they face. If they take their time with Greenard and he comes back healthy and has a few weeks to get in game shape that's another problem. Their LBs are talented and deep and they have three really good DBs. Toss in SB having a good year if the OL is healthy and they match up with anyone. I said it earlier today, but that defense absolutely has the ability to be more talented than the SB team two years ago.

It's way early and I bet people will be disappointed and freak out when the offense takes a few weeks to click. That won't be because Hurts sucks or SM is inept or because Brown left. Maybe they look like the Bears last year under Johnson, but realistically it's going to take time just like two years ago. I'm excited.

I'm just glad that it looks like our 2nd string look like they can start

He'll get his 1500 yards while the pats go 7-11 catering to his whimsOn the money. Looking forward to many forced throws to AJ in the regular season. No longer wins the 50/50 balls consistently and can't jump to save his life. Maye is gonna have to thread the needle consistently. If it isn't perfect, it's getting picked off or AJ just flat out can't get to It due to lack of athleticism and jumping ability. Pats will want their 1st rounder back by November and will be calling Howie a thief.

I have only really followed along what has been posted here but he looks like someone that will really contribute if given the opportunity. Underated pick up for you guys imo.

Wicks has a better year than lemon1 hour ago, LacesOut said:Lemon won’t have half the season Wicks has. That very much depends on if Wicks is able to hold onto the ball. But if he improves on his hands I believe it. Lemon is a precision route/technician type receiver and even JSN went for 60/600 his first year in the league in that role. Time will tell.
August 20Aug 20 Just got a notification on my phone of extreme thunderstorms with 80 MPH winds. Praying Lurie was able to make it back in his rental helicopter and he isn't still traveling.

August 20Aug 20 Just now, NOTW said:Or new complaints DT or O line aren't the deepest group. Fix it Howie!I dont see how DT isnt deep. We go 3 starters deep, which most teams dont have, and then Byron Young has become a very solid rotational player. I think teams would kill for that 4 man rotation. Beyond them, Ty Robinson is finally making some plays, and they have the UDFA just signed last week with a surprisingly good showing. Then, theres Uar Bernard in the pipeline.
August 20Aug 20 I usually am pretty patient with rookies since I expect them all to pretty much suck at first, but goodness, Stowers looks so bad in every clip I see. He doesn’t have any route running chops and his movement skills are stiff. Yiiiiikes.

Came out of nowhere to establish himself as that in 2024 when he was one of the most essential parts of that all time great Super Bowl winning defense. It seems like he has fallen off everyone's radars and is looked at as if he had come back down to earth and cooled off of his great 2024 All Pro season but I feel like he was just as good if not better last season. He also has a very humble and light hearted personality so maybe that plays into it but he should be an absolute star in this league and in this city. He is a dominant LB and the Eagles best LB this century. He is better than prime Trotter was for us.

August 20Aug 20 Campbell has the specs of an edge rusher…issue is he’s not good at it. It’s been tried in college and with the eagles.Edge rusher specs make someone a plus plus athlete for an off ball LB. Issue is his instincts are average and that makes him average, even despite the great athleticism. Edge is an explosive athlete downhill position. Off ball lb is an instinct read and react position.
