I keep hearing it everywhere. 😆Yes I’m sure they will miss having the 23rd best pass offense in the league this year. Even if they are 22nd in the league (which is awful) it would be an improvement.I have him on ignore but that's super Fing creepy

What will drive the narrative on Hurts is whether we have a prolific passing game, or if we are a running team who just efficiently converts 3rd and manageable through the air when needed like in 2024.Massive stats by a QB is just not how to judge this anymore. Have you seen Mahomes stats since Tyreek left? Absolutely have shrunk. Being the field general and making winning plays, including in the rushing department are mostly dismissed when talking about Hurts. I think all of these arguments all died on the vine, once Hurts outshined Mahomes in 2 different Superbowls in a span of 3 years. He went head to head with an all time great and passed with flying colors. Just turned 28 and still getting better IMO as a passing QB.This offense will be great for him, as I stated as soon as they made the Mannion hire. And Diva out, with Devanta in (have been together for almost 10 years including Alabama), as the unequivocal Number 1 is great for team chemistry and growing Hurts's game.

Ya stats aren’t the end all be all, but Hurts absolutely can not average around 200 YPG again unless Saquon and Bigsby absolutely go off and his playing complimentary football. He can’t be the inconsistent QB he’s been for the most part the past 3 years. With hurts it’s about consistency…vs raw stats. He needs to lead the O, not just have moments and drives.

Better at DT (Carter, Davis and Ojomo all way better than 2024, offsets loss of Milt). Better at CB (Q and Coop better than rookie year, Riq and Slay probably a wash). Let's say roughly the same at ILB (better depth). Worse at S.Speaking of BG, do we think he is back after Week 1? I can see it if Greenard is on PUP for first 4 games.

I think he might be retired for good.
Thursday at 05:20 PM1 day I think we're headed back to the AR glory days, with a ball control passing games (10-15 yard completions, screens, draws, etc.) but with a much better and more utilized running game. The key wasn't so much huge stats but consistently being able to drive the ball downfield even with mediocre skill people.Hurts has had a high completion rate and low Int rate operating out of fairly simple offenses that don't create a lot of separation, especially for secondary targets (when his primary target was taken away). He should have a lot more easy throws in this scheme, but even the WR screens are more creative than just lining up wide and hoping the other WR can make a block and the ball gets there before anyone else on the defense reacts.

We can survive the first few weeks without Greenard if need be. I would hate to see someone lose a roster spot to carry Graham for the whole season.Graham can come back if needed for a playoff push if/when other players are injured creating the roster spot for him.

It bothers me that he doesn’t play to that level or near it regularly. He’s capable but most of the time he just plays not to lose games. Hoping he flips the script this year. Never been a big fan but I don’t hate him either. Just meh

Eagles are more of a running team (Chiefs have had a lot of Jags at RB, while we have Barkley & Swift recently), so of course Hurts will have less passing yards, but the difference is not as much as you think. In last 3 years where Hurts has supposedly stunk, he has less INTs, better QB rating and still average of 22 Passing TDs compared to Mahomes average of 25 TDs. Add to that, Mahomes has a brilliant generational offensive genius running the offense, who does Hurts have: 7 straight different coordinators and zero stability. And let's just throw away all the positive running/TD stats attributed to Hurts. Nah, they don't count to his overall value. Lol

Once again, if we get even average Hurts consistently, the team is a lot better off. 2024 is the perfect dichotomy to explain this…the Jags game was the turning point of the season. He was BAD up until that point, a lot of people thought it was going to be a repeat of the season prior. After that game, he turned it up, played consistently good football commensurate with his pay and went on to lead the team to a SB. Making you forget how abysmal he was for half the season. The mental gymnastics your performing here are quite impressive.

There is a small chain of restaurants called Texadelphia started by a Philadelphia native in Austin, Texas, in 1981. There are only a few left, but is still one in DAL, I would eat there every couple weeks when I had to drive in to work. The founder Joel Stanley sold the business in 2014 and sadly passed away from pancreatic cancer shortly after. https://texadelphia.com/I used to eat at Texadelphia pretty regularly. Only place to get a half way decent Cheesesteak in Austin. The ole 56 from Jersey Mikes isn't a bad go to in a pinch but nothing legit Cheesesteak.

It’s a smaller sample size…I know, but him and Hurts will both benefit a lot from AJ not being around in some aspects. Ya losing an All Pro and arguably top 5 WR in the league when he’s playing well is going to hurt. But don’t forget how ridiculously good Smith is.

But the constant harping of his flaws can comes across as ignorant and not looking at the big picture. Of course he has warts. He also has many strengths. There is no perfect QB out there. Not even Mahomes. He has actually faded recently in his greatness. This league has literally, maybe 20 starting QBs and starves for anything decent. Malik Willis gets paid $23M a year for crying out loud. I just take a holistic approach on this matter and just look at the final results of wins and losses. Yes it could be uneven. Again, not as an excuse, but it's hard to start out every season with a brand new offensive coordinator. Takes time to gel. I think this year, will be the final year of doubting Hurts, if and when he flourishes with a brand new offense with no AJ Brown. Looking forward to it.

We'll seeHe made that incredible catch while doing a sort of flip/summersault but the first thing I was thinking of was please don't be injured
Thursday at 06:09 PM1 day Definitely don't think the Eagles are better at DT this year. At least not now. Could prove to be if Carter takes his game to the next level and Ojomo as well, but Carter was great in 2024, and Milton Williams really came on strong and was just another body that allowed them to rotate. The DTs totally dominated that SB. Milton Williams was a monster.I don't think the defense will be as good as 2024 but I think it'll be close.
Thursday at 06:11 PM1 day We can go round and round on the defense vs. 2024, or Hurts and the new offense, or whatever...The 2025 season was spoiled by the struggles of the offensive line primarily. If Jurgens, Lane and Dickerson (or someone else) can stay healthy and not suck, it solves A LOT of issues.
