October 27Oct 27 You know. Im a hard working professional. The Eagles get me through the torture of a spring and summer where my head is down and Im working. Why? so I can look forward to a great season and competition when I watch my team. I go ape crap when we are lolly gagging all over the field. If I lollygag I get fired. Some heads should role. Never been this disappointed with effort. Its the same team as the superbowl team. Minus a few players. What happened?why? Its to early to give up. I still strap my boots on everyday. These bums need to.

It's going to suck but I would trade two or three rough years for that decade of success any day. I also think Howie will turn things around as he has historically had more success at rebuilding teams than maintaining SB winners. The best thing everyone can do right now is root for losses.Very few team go to 3 x Superbowls in 8 years while being a constant presence in playoffs - the relentless pace for doing that takes its toll. Its a rich man's problem, but still sucks to see how its ending. I don't think its a multi year turnaround, but some well loved players will go
October 27Oct 27 Howie has had two horrible years. It's time to sell and get as many picks as possible. The team is a disaster. The D has quit. If we wait to sell player values will only decline. Washington may be the only game we can win. Lose to them and we're facing the possibility of 15 straight losses. SELL SELL SELL

Normally at the trade dead line you see a handful players go and it's usually not all from one team lol.Howie is not just going to move somebody to move them. Now if a team offers a can't refuse deal for someone yes. But they're not going to be selling just to sellCouldn't disagree more. Howie needs to commit to a full blown garage sale. A year ago we had spent 190 million of future money, more than a full season's worth of cap space and twice as much as the 2 nd highest spending team. It was worth it as we won 2 titles and if they hadn't played on that crap AZ field it might be 3 SB wins. Now the team has aged out many of our best players were allowed to walk as Howie chose to cover his ass and extend his high picks and we have drafted terribly last two years. The money has run out. Time to shed salary take the cap hits and get as many picks as possible but have someone else use them as Howie sucks at drafting. Fire everyone start over. That time comes for every team. It's our time now for a re birth a new beginning. And wan't that last SB win just amazing! 34-0 before the Chiefs crossed mid field. I feel so much gratitude for that performance, the high light of my 61 years watching this team. Time to sell sell sell

October 27Oct 27 I think dad was most excited to meet Vermeil. Was a cool night. And the game was fun…for 2.5 quarters.
October 27Oct 27 Watching last night, seeing the holes, and the money allocation for the future, Howie has really put the team behind the 8 ball. I never understood paying Davis and Carter big money. Getting no impact from either of them, and our bargain bin defensive ends are not being respected to get to the QB, so they are being blocked 1 on 1 and the DT's are being taken out of the game. With Q and DeJean ( who needs to be moved to safety full time ) coming up for extensions soon, going to be a lot of cap dollars tied to the defense, and if that is what we are going to get out of them, the Eagles could be on the verge of some bad seasons. Whether or not Hurts is the QB of the future, which also comes with some big cap dollars, there will not be the resources to put the talent around him to succeed. Add to all of that what appears to be two wasted draft classes, could be 3-5 years before the Eagles can overcome this.
