Glad he's progressing - but there's always the opportunity cost of not taking an OL in the 1st.He played his 7th game in the NFL last night. Brown is in his 8th year and Lemon hasn’t played his 8th GAME.

The point more was to say he was paid as the highest DT and a premiere defensive player in the league and he should be held to a very high standard. He should be getting held on most plays, it shouldn’t be an excuse for him. It’s admirable he played through injury but he wasn’t injured last night and just looked checked out. We shouldn’t need Nakobe Dean or Jordan Davis to keep him in line and motivated at this point in his career. He was paid accordingly and needs to step his game up. He is starting to remind me more of Albert Haynesworth than the generational DT he’s supposed to be.His post game locker room antics last night was also embarrassing. I can’t ever see him being a Captain on this team.Aside from injury, the only rationalization I can make for JC's play is that he plays a ton of snaps on a defense that plays a ton of snaps. I love Vic, but I don't agree with how he handles the DT rotation.

Which is stunning - they were keeping an inept offense in games for weeks before getting exhausted in Q4 due to playing too many snaps. Last night it felt like no one wanted to be out there other than Q. Letting Dallas run all over them is embarrassing. This falls on Nick.I'm starting to warm up to the idea of a total reset at coaching and hiring Flores as opposed to one of the offensive guys ala Doyle/Kubiak/Udinski. Can't imagine Fangio is gonna stick around for a group that gives up like that.

Lane a top tier RT retired. Steen is average, Kendall isnt bad but hes average at best, Dickerson is a shell, Mailata is above average.TE goedert is good when healthy but he misses every other game. The backups at TE are hot garbage. The Offemse lacks talent. On D the scheme sucks, its passive prevent defense that drops 7 rushes 4 and relies on the D line to create pressureOther than Jalen carter who gets doubled and held every play who do they have in the DL?Hunt is a good rotational guy he cant set an edge , greenery is damaged washed goods, Nolan always hurt and nothing special anyway. At ILB Baum is playing out if position Campbell is clueless and useless and Trotter gets trucked every game.Corners are actually good but they cant hold up for 6 seconds every play and the safeties yeesh what a disaster, who could have predicted a 180 pound safety would struggle in the nfl.I dont even know who the other safety is but hes probably also about 180 pounds.Eagles dont just have the worst starting safeties in the league they're also the smallest. And Dejean its like hes never even played football before, hes gone from best nickel in the league to Sean Considine. Hes been awful.Majority of the D is void of talent and the talent they have is being mis used.Ill always be thankful for vic but his defense is maddening, its just such a risk averse passive defense that gets dictated to by offenses. But aside from all that, we’re looking good!Jake hasn’t missed any kicks!

Watching the replays of the Cowboys runs in game, confirmed that. The bigger concern is that there is nobody on the DL to draw double teams besides him. The DEs are nonexistent and JD has regressed to his former self. They need more from their DEs and JD to get back on his Pelaton

But my preference in the 1st was OL for obvious reasons, but the pick is the pick now.

Some have said it raises concerns for potential candidates to feel they have too short a leash. I think they've progressed through different things they've wanted in a HC.Reid brought winning and stability and was here the longest.Chip they took a gamble on the innovative choiceDoug they went back to Reid's tree and wanted someone to connect with the playersNick worked with Reich so that was a connection and they wanted a coach to set up the offenseThis year they hired Mannion from the outside to implement a new scheme. He may be a good OC eventually, he's been making some improvements and it's tough with the injury list he's working with. But my guess is they don't want to fire a HC so often. They want the next version of Andy Reid type: an offensive minded coach with a system to install and the ability to hire quality OCs and train them up, and support them if they're struggling. Nick seems to have no answers on offense. They are likely tired of changing coaches so often. If the OC is so good he gets hired as a HC, fine that happens. But they need stability and performance out of the offense not changing it up every year.

Ebetake and Epenesa routinely get run off the ball, but that's where we are - Greenard appears to be a non-factor until he gets perfectly healthy.
October 27Oct 27 Another issue is Carter and Davis were projected to be stout in the running game. They are not even doing that part of their jobs. That is more about effort and want to, in shedding/tackling and battling out there. They are being neutralized with ease. Two over 300 pounders in the middle should be a wall in there. Two weeks in a row, 2 bad running teams ran right thru them like Swiss Cheese. With their season and playoff lives on the line...no less.
October 27Oct 27 We have 8 sacks through 7 games. I can’t really wrap my head around that. 3 each for JC and Nolan. 1 from Campbell and half each for JD and Trotter. Hunt has been an enormous disappointment. Greenard as well but hopefully that’s due to injury.

It's kind of a cornerstone of this franchise, that we've moved off of recently.
October 27Oct 27 People were cool with Clint Hurtt taking over. Maybe he should be fired let alone taking over for DC when Fangio retires. DL has underperformed majorly this season.

The lack of effort has to fall on Hurtt, Fangio and Nick.
October 27Oct 27 I still think when Fangio retires it's going to be Jim Schwartz as DC. Fangio will be here next season, he's already informed the team he'll be back next year, but Schwartz could be 2028.

Which isn’t surprising as that injury in London 2 weeks ago looked bad. I kind of think he’s in the same boat as Barkley. Where they are playing with injuries to help the team and frankly neither should be out there
October 27Oct 27 If we are going to make a change at head coach, I know guys like Doyle or another offensive play caller will be hot names. And I would be thrilled if Doyle came here. But…hear me out. Any coach here has to allow Howie to control the roster, and that likely hurts us with guys who have multiple options. One name - a guy who has limited options and may be blackballed - is coaching the best defense in the NFL for an undefeated team. How do we feel about Brian Flores? I would love to see his defense with our players.
October 27Oct 27 Eagles got more for Jurgens than Colts did for Nelson who is a far superior player. Shows you what youth buys.Ojomo is going to fetch a lot more than people think.

Now he’s the DE version of Na Brown.
