September 14Sep 14 Eagles fans harassing a guy who has given his physical all to help the team win the Super Bowl.
September 14Sep 14 That was quick. Glad they didn’t let it become even more glaring of an issue than it already has been - or after a loss.
September 14Sep 14 I know this will be unpopular and no question he was bad but Landon Dickerson has earned a longer leash than 1 game … it’s a new system I’m confident he’ll get it turned around. Honestly, I’m more concerned with the entire OLine … did anyone play well? The staff might want to go over blitz protections because after yesterday I’d imagine they are going to be tested plenty more.

Stoutland is gone, we are trying something new this year. Washington Defense did get the best of them and I felt like Jalen and Saquon did the best with what they had. But a lot of fans are idenifying it's looking a little too much like last year with Saquon getting stopped behind the line.

However if he was actually dealing with a legit ailment again and they him play that’s stupid on the eagles part. That said very well might be a phantom IR stint where they want to give him weeks off and see what he looks like in 4 weeks

Which tells me he was dealing with something going into that game. If you knew that you shouldn’t have let him play. That’s a problem. They could’ve worded that he came out of that game with some ailments and banged up from the game, but that’s not how it was worded.

This is a deeper group and not a 2 man show. 2025 Brown was a failure by the end of the 49er game. His hands, which was his main forte at that point were terrible. Athleticism GONE!!Also, dont think we will miss a guy who quits on his team, literally after Week 4, in defense of a Superbowl championship. He's toxic as they come. He steered his way to the Patriots and will realize that he misses Hurts and Devanta. They don't miss him at all! LOL Not even a lil bit.I don’t think they invested a first round pick in a player that just has to match Dotson.
September 14Sep 14 This is the right call. Landon couldn’t move. Hopefully 4-6 weeks make a difference. If this is the end, thanks for the Super Bowl.

Jurgens is on the clock...Feel bad for the guy, but maybe they learned from last year....and maybe this was something he asked for as well. I wouldn't be shocked if that's the last game we see from him. The poor guy's body seems done.
September 14Sep 14 Ok, I just saw the news, Landon on IR. I guess he's still dealing with the injury.
September 14Sep 14 So Dickerson'a base salary for 2026 is $1.21M. That's peanuts if he decides to retire after the IR stay. He either starts or retires. Don't see a bench role. And he's probably toast even in that capacity. That may be a career. That is sad. But I really think we have a competent bench to figure out the future.

This offense relies on having a lot of tight end usage. Stowers is red shirted for me as of now and won't count on much this year. Really have nothing proven, in the way of pass catchers backing up TE. Please don't mention GC. 😅On top of that, he shouldn't cost much. Since coming off of injury, he won't be commanding a ton of snaps. At first, comes in for packages. Maybe implement in RZ with 2/3 TE looks. As a side bonus, would also be a good mentor for Stowers. There is the sentimental side as well, like to see him make amends in Philly and break that receptions record. Most likely gets broken by Devanta later, but something to cheer for.I agree with your thinking, but wonder what advantage is achieved if he is added to the roster now rather than in the week after Goedert gets injured? On Sunday the following TEs were active. Goedert for 52 of the 55 snaps, Mundy for 20 of the 55, Jenkins 1 of the 55. Ertz isn’t going to "steal” any snaps from Goedert. Nor is he going to get any of Mundy’s snaps. That leaves Jenkins’ one snap for Ertz … and maybe not even that if Jennings was in in order to be a blocker. Why not have Ertz on the Bell Squad until and unless DG gets injured.

That said if they knew he wasn’t right and still dealing with his injury then they should’ve IR’d him prior so may have been able to keep one of the OL that got snatched in waivers.
September 14Sep 14 I’m cool with Kendall or Lampkin getting a shot, but OL has to be the highest priority trade target at this point.
September 14Sep 14 I think that could be the last we ever see of Dickerson. He's not injured(at least as far we we know). So I wouldn't be surprised if at some point this season he announces his retirement and they just never take him off IR.

Certainly not after. It's not like he was a Top 10 pick. I've had tempered expectations for a slot receiver in an Eagles offense. I just want to see growth. Got Devanta/Wicks/Goedert as your top 3 targets. The rest is scraps for everyone.
