On a side note, my dad went to the game yesterday and said the parking situation was the best it's been since he can recall. We park in H lot and it's always been a total zombie apocalypse trying to park and find a space with all the tailgate RVs previously taking up 10-15 spots. With the new tailgate changes and moving them over closer to the Flyers/Sixers arena, it sounds like they cleaned a lot of it up. They should have done that years ago: separate lots for tailgating and people who just want to park and go into the stadium.

I’ll be turning 60 years old in just over a month and my sister sent a family text a few days ago asking if anyone knew if our childhood home was still standing. I’ve thought about going back to see i

Cooper is a straight bawler, Covey looked good, and Elliot is nailing his long kicks again. Makuba and Dejean looked to be improving. The team as a whole competed in what was many believed to be a blow out game coming their way.

There's some small bright spots out of that game.

I bet Howie sleeps like a baby knowing he still has Dalton on his roster.

This is way overstated regarding the difficulty. A simple Google search will reveal that 24 HC's call plays either offensively or defensively.

Reading comprehension. "In the face of constant film analysis."

That means people that do that and actually keep their jobs for a sustained period of time, because they're not so bad they end up getting fired. How's his NFL head coach hiring group doing?

🤣 there are just bigger aholes in front of him these days

They should both be canned. Inadequate punishment for the worse behavior I have seen from officials. And they should check the Kalshi accounts for the refs that called the Dallas v Texan game. Sure smells.

The head coach is a moron

I think he knows that teams game plan around your best players; someone needs to tell him they do that for your worst players too...

Anyway, anyone who feels like having fun can silently observe the stages of grief with me on Eagles reddit, because I sure as hell won't be posting there, but observing it is interesting.

It's of course, the thread where they posted what Nick Foles said and are having internal crises because they can't just dismiss him as biased or hateful. They have a lot of people there who are sort of like Skippy, but with way more downvote as pitchforks, way less posting of huge walls that nobody reads, and way more repeating of "God, Jalen has so much aura."

If I'm being actually honest though, I really do wish Jalen could move past these things. Internally I still feel like it's early in the system, and he should be able to improve. After all, we've seen waves of QBs that actually polish late, like how Geno played for a bit there. Unfortunately the biggest and most important difference there though, is that you get them at first on modest contracts, letting you build around them a bit more. You don't have as much luxury to do that with a QB that's locked into a high AAV deal.

I've actually seen some signs of improvement in very specific areas. Some passes he makes are actually out on time now and generally I like seeing that. Needs to be more consistent though.

Cam Jurgens is not a good G. He was bad at RG and is bad at LG.

There are Hurts blind loyalists? Literally everyone either says he has limitations and or is mid. 🤣

There is…it reminds me of politics these days. You have vocal minorities that scream really really really loud on both extremes. Then you have a bunch in the middle who are either left/right or indifferent that get lumped into the hater/hugger categories. Kind of impossible to have a realistic convo about things once the loud ones get involved. It always devolves into mayhem.

Do other teams talk this much about finding their identity every year? It's year 6 of Sirianni as head coach. Every year they say around weeks 4-6 (or more) that they're still trying to find their identity. Do other teams say that as often?

There is no identity to find when you suck at every aspect of the game. They never have an identity because they can't do anything right.

Living out here in Arizona, cardinals deal with that pretty routinely. Frankly it’s also cause they are a bad organization and really didn’t have great coaches besides Arians to set a foundation of what they wanted to be.

Honestly watching other teams every weekend, it’s really hard watching other teams have offenses that are not like pulling teeth. Even 2024 it felt like the passing game was maddening even with the amount of passing game options.

And his #1 fan is mighty quiet today.

Immediately after the game he posted bad stats about Justin Herbert for deflection purposes.

I would leave early also, if I put a game plan in and the QB ran around like a little kid playing flag football.

I’d take it as he’s likely frustrated and upset. I think it would be much more odd if he routinely did that but we don’t exactly have that info if it was just yesterday or every home game we have had/will have

I can't speak for teams, but being confused and trying to find my identity followed me until my upper 30s. It was only when I embraced the exclusive lifestyle of golden showers that I was able to emerge from my cocoon like a beautiful butterfly!

What happened?

The guy in the Miami-Vikings game got accidentally bumped into by a player who tried to help him up. The ref flew off the handle and got in the guys face.

The other guy said "F you" to Trey McBride twice on camera

So, we haven't converted a 3rd down in 6 quarters and our OL coach is (literally) the worst in the league for the last few years.

But, nah, we're good keeping Sirriani as the CEO because watching film is hard roll

Oh, and in his own words the team doesn't do anything well enough to have an identity. Yeah, we should just keep him and let him pick another QB

Nick saw the approach thr Rams did for week 1 and said you know what I liked that
