I'm not one of the people on here crying about Hurts because they expect him to be a different QB. He's not Josh or Stafford and he's never going to be. He will miss open people when he has a bad OL.

Expecting anything else after this many years is ridiculous and fans in TATE being TATERS.This...does not exactly sound like it's supportive of Hurts. You do realize people will read this as 'he needs an ideal situation at worst to be successful', and that's kind of a condemnation of the QB, right? It almost sounds like a reason to replace him?

You just finally decided to use your big boy words and actually take a position, Great job. Now, your position is fine, but It's now how I see it playing out.I think Sirriani has shows to be enough of a Buffoon that he doesn't get the benefit of choosing his guy 6 years in.No, no, you definitely dodged my point rather than admitting you had literally 0 evidence for the crux of your argument, and basically went "It's stupid and I don't care." LOLAs for the rest. I mean. I think you feeling he's a buffoon is not just you, but a large part of the fanbase's reason to want him gone. They just don't like him, it's as simple as that. It's basically the exact same thing McNabb thinks the fans feel about him, but if it actually happened in real life. Which is kind of ironic because he just acts like he's from Philadelphia, even though he's not.

Bring back Stout…We definitely got too used to, and took for granted the fact that Stoutland basically made it so we almost never had anything less than a very good OL. These are problems other teams have to deal with some time. Welcome back to a normal world, unfortunately.

He obviously managed to convince Howie and Lurie of that when they hired him. He's done the very opposite since he delegated the play calling duties to someone else and named himself a CEO coach. The rest of his buffoonery just even further solidifies what his fate should be.
October 5Oct 5 I'll give the Eagles the benefit of the doubt there. Despite what wannabe Greg Cosell faux film guru dorks on social media think, who know absolutely nothing, the Eagles watch all these guys practice. If they thought someone would be better than Jurgens they'd play them. Now their evaluations may end up being wrong, but they have more information than we do.

October 5Oct 5 By the way, Harbaugh had 7 different OC's while he was the HC at Baltimore. So, not sure that is the W that you thought it would be.Also, he was hired as a defensive / ST guy, not under the false pretense of being the next brilliant offensive mind.
October 5Oct 5 26 minutes ago, Diehardfan said:Hey offensive line can we are going to run a slant on every play because you guys will never block. On one. Break. The DC thinks twice about pressure when you can beat it. Hurts has shown little to no ability to do that, so they are just going to dial it up.
October 5Oct 5 I think I would try to see what I can get for Nolan Smith right now. Rip the band-aid off on that, throw Jihaad back at edge in the rotation, and get Trotter Jr more playing time at LB.

Coop got banged up yesterday but came back in, but I think anything that can be structural, they err on the side of caution.
October 5Oct 5 Competitive travel advantage. The Jags now have to prepare for the Eagles to arrive Thursday, Friday OR Saturday!

That's certainly an opinion, but everyone's entitled to one?
October 5Oct 5 36 minutes ago, Diehardfan said:@Mike030270 NSFWBut here ya go...exactly this...Hurts didn't have a good game, but anyone who expects a QB to look comfortable and play well with this happening is ridiculous.People keep only posting plays in which defend their views. Watching the whole game Hurts also had plays with time in the pocket and held onto the ball, rolled out too fast or had a bad read or throw. Yes the Oline, mainly Cam is a problem and has contributed to some of Hurts play issues. But at the same time Hurts has a ton of downfalls of his own that are effecting this team as well. Lets be true and not keep using the "He wins games" comments. "He has a SB". Yes he won the SB in an amazing played game by him. But look back on the season in 24, he was a avg QB with an amazing Oline and a HOF winning year out of his RB. The OC had to change the offense to a 65% running scheme cause Hurts couldn't "adapt" to passing heavy scheme with new concepts. That SB run was on Coaching to start to see the QB's limits and adjusting to the Barkley show. Problem is teams recognized that and in 25 they schemed to stop the run game first and let Hurts beat them with his arm. We saw how that turned out. Every year there is another excuse for Hurts poor execution. As of yesterday we have already seen a slip back from the new offense scheme to go back to the previous years (Shotgun pretty much all game and abandoning the under center scheme in which Mannion was brought in for)I honestly dont care who is a Hurts supporter and hater. Its all just empty talk back and forth. In the end this year is a test for Hurts to see if he can progress and develop his game, no more excuses. If he does not improve he will not be here in 27. Have to read the signs. If there was no chance they were giving up on him, the FO would have restructured his contract already. There is a reason they have not even considered it this year.

Lamar had Marty Mornewhig as his OC his rookie year. His second year they brought in Greg Roman, and Lamar was MVP. Then after 3 years, they made the change to Todd Monken, and he was MVP again. It's almost like you can embrace a new offense and play well in it.
