Assuming that this dumpster fire continues, it's my belief that they will move off of both Hurts and Sirriani. At least they should if they're smart.

Wrong or right, if you move off of Sirriani but not Hurts, then you will significantly limit your options for the future coach. No matter what side of the Hurts debate you fall on, this is not debatable. The top candidates will not hitch their fate to him. Yes, there's potential upside, but way too much risk.

If you move off of Hurts, but keep Sirriani....well, then you are continuing the OC groundhog day. Starting over every year with a new offensive system will never be a formula for success. Not to mention the rest of the stupid distractions that he brings to the table.

They both will have to go.

Yes please

I didnt. I said I don’t think he wants to run anymore. I get it because you get more banged up and injured. he had been getting banged and not making it through an entire season unscathed. But if you’re just gonna take it all away and limit it then takes away a dimension and hurts him and the offense

I think he'd be alright if he just had a quicker release. But it's not his style. He's always been on the slower side

Two OCs have gotten head coaching jobs under him and the other two have not gotten OC jobs elsewhere. If teams thought Hurts was that bad and holding back Brian Johnson and Patullo, teams would be lining up to hire them as OC. That had to take positional jobs.

And I don't think Sirianni will get another head coaching job immediately. Doubt he even gets a coordinator job.

So even after seeing the Hurts video you still think the coaches are the problem even now?

There is no "the problem." Everyone is a problem. An offense doesn't get this bad having only one problem.

Sirianni sucks

Mannion sucks

Hurts sucks(or at least is playing poorly right now)

The OL sucks

The WRs outside Devonta aren't very good

The TEs suck

The RBs are injured

The OL coach sucks

Howie had 2 bad offseasons in a row.

That's how you get an offense that can go entire game without converting on 3rd down.

Uhhhhh....

Did you ever consider that maybe the reason Sirianni or most of his similar style of coordinators can't coach the offense is BECAUSE Hurts is the QB? And also that the reason they get plucked every year is BECAUSE Hurts is the QB?

NFL coaches and GMs do not see what we fans do. They look at film and actually will understand these issues that people are only now addressing because Foles said this. They know exactly what people had to deal with to make the offense work in these situations.

And as for Nick, if you've somehow forgotten, his background is Indy. His prototypes is like, Phillip Rivers. Phillip Rivers is basically the exact OPPOSITE QB of QB1. Did you ever consider that maybe the reason is that none of the stuff he's experienced or learned was designed for QBs with one of the slowest releases in the entire league? Once again, because everyone forgets, Sirianni never had a chance to draft his own QB.

Let’s distill this down into something more simple:

How many combined years and new look offensive coordinators calling the plays can you run through a bad passing offense before there is more of a consensus staring at the qb?

3 more years and 2 more coaches? 5?

How long can the passing offense be bad without blaming the passer?

Yeah, you didn't watch the video. That's okay!

The real Q today is how does the defense survive a Q injury, which sounds like at least a bone bruise at best. Could be out a few weeks if he's looking to fully heal. That's a big issue. Eagles have problems just about everywhere. I don't have much faith in Jonathan Jones. Maybe Moore can get into the equation.

Jalen can't be the problem until everyone else in the situation, barring Howie, are cycled first.

For a lot of fans Hurts winning a SB and getting to another one nullifies any blame

Well, your post is barely coherent, but I'll try to respond.

We just got turned down by Daboll and Mike McDaniels. That just happened. So yes, I do believe that the top HC candidates will not want to take on the risk of hitching their fate to the Hurts wagon.

As far as Nick. The ship has sailed. He doesn't get to stick around for a few more years with his hand picked guy. And the OC carousel that comes with him is killing this team. It will with another QB as well.

They both will have to go.

A new coach will want a new quarterback. its that simple

People arent giving enough credence to fact that a ball coming out on time will dramatically reduce the amount of pressure it would look like teams are getting on McKee. He wont get hit as much as people think. Because they are seeing the OL get made to look worse by Hurts staring at WRs all day long and then tuck it and run like an idiot. Real QBs wont be doing that.

McKee has a pretty quick release. Honestly that's one of his best traits. He'll still have a rough couple games. Not saying they should do it, but I think you might not be able to come back from it if it happened. If Hurts gets injured this year, he might be in some deep crap if McKee learns the offense by then.

The crux of your entire argument is that the OC carousel is caused directly by him. Do you have quality reasoning to back up your claim?

You can think he sucks but pointing to yesterday is stupid. He had a 68% completion percentage, 347 yards, 2 TD’s, no turnovers, 2 sacks and a 126.7 passer rating.

Maybe if his defense didn’t give up 34 points, 28 which were in the second half, he’d win too

Guy doesn't win big games. Point remains that many teams would love to have Hurts vs what they have.

I’m a Hurts guy but that was bad. This has to get going right now if it’s ever going to get going.

Huh? The fact that Nick Sirriani has shown that he can't call plays is why we have a OC carousel. He was so bad that he handed the duties to Steichen and named himself a "CEO Head Coach".

I thought everyone knew this lol.

Ah, one of those 'what is happening is the only thing that exists' kind of guys. You also believe Troy Aikman was much better than Dan Marino I assume? Cowboys bias aside, of course.

I haven't seen anyone defend Cam. Or is saying Hurts had a bad game mean you're defending Cam and I just didn't know it's one or the other?

He missed a lot of people and did his leave the pocket right away. That's who he is though. It's not his fault his LG hit the ball in his hands, his WR didn't get "off the f'ing ball" on the first play and the coaches didn't adjust in the 2nd half, or everyone was hurt. On the list of things to blame you have to start with Nick, Cam, Howie, injuries, before you get to Hurts.

Siri can win 2 more games this season and they won’t fire him, they might fire him this time next year if it’s the same but he def earned the right to one bad losing season. Every other coach that has never won anything gets that leash pretty much.

Yeah, I'm flat out saying people going after Hurts are missing four much larger issues before you get to him.
