October 11Oct 11 This team is a couple of plays away from being 0-5. Smoke and mirrors in their 2 wins. Between the poor coaching, qb, and FO they're not going anywhere this season. What a waste of a potentially good defense. This team is on it's way to the Julian era. Enjoy.
October 11Oct 11 I wanted to know what realistic expectations were there today for 3 offensive lineman today playing their 1st or 2nd game. And were expected reserve backups for 2026. And Fred Johnson playing a new position at Guard to add to things. Pierce looking like a guy who hasn't played much in 3 years. Steele was the perfect guy to play today to grind things out. Then Mundt who tends to run into his own players and can't catch a cold. Goedert was in and out but good. Against a top AFC opponent. Did you expect a well oiled machine? Thus far, an ongoing theme in addition to this, is lack of adjustments after half time. Now, next week if they still look like this with a full deck then we have a problem. I don't see that happening.
October 11Oct 11 Should we be more forgiving of Hurts because he went 9-for-23 to finish this game, or because he put up 3 points in the second half for the first time in three weeks? This was another game of the opponent having drive after drive until they finally score, while the Eagles offense sleeps.Honestly, this is all wasted time until the next QB. I’m in a state of despair over the Jurgens trade and Lane retirement because the dead money likely means the Eagles can’t eat the dead money hit to move on from Hurts after this season. They also have the dead money from AJ Brown because he couldn’t take playing with Hurts any longer.Draft a QB in April. The Eagles weren’t concerned about Wentz’s feelings when they drafted Hurts; they shouldn’t worry about Hurts’ when the right thing needs to be done. Either way, the reality is watching 29 more games of this.

Until they lose to a non-playoff team, this is probably where it's supposed to be at 2-3, when you looked at the skedge before the season. Lose to the Panthers and I will be ripping peeps everywhere including Howie! 😅All Hurts does is win when they win but we have to capitalize team loss when they lose.

October 11Oct 11 Being surrounded by crap on offense today is an extremely difficult spot and it’s not Hurts fault. I agree with that.Let that be a reminder that Hurts was surrounded by 10 pro bowl quality players on offense for years. Not his fault now (I genuinely agree it’s not), but recognize he was never that good then.

October 11Oct 11 And Greenard is Huff 2.0. Two 3rds and $100 million dollars for 1 tackle and a qb hit thru 5 games. 5 Daltons!
October 11Oct 11 Hurts is not a force multiplier. He isn't going to carry the team. it is what it is. him and sirianni are the 2 constants so the blame now falls squarely on both. transition time folks.

I will give him that, especially given the circumstances. But the 2nd half was bad.Need a little more consistency from him and not have entire halves wasted by the O.I'll also add that even for that end of the game drive the O needed multiple chances to take back lead. Did the classic 3 and out when they got the ball with 3.20 and put the D out there in a game over if you concede a single first down situation. They never even get the chance for that FG if the Jags had gotten a couple more yards. The O still all feels very much like last year. Even if they somehow sneak into the playoffs in a weak division, this O will lay a giant turd in the WC round for the 4th time in the Siri / Hurts era.

Have they changed it or tweaked it since that? The answer is no.so now that we (NOT the organization) have established they’ve had a problem with the way they’ve used analytics over the last month (I’d argue dating back to the back half of last year) and haven’t changed it, do you think they’re actually gonna change it or make Tweaks?I am guessing they aren’t as it would’ve already begun. I’m guessing they’re gonna go down with the ship as they believe their model is the best based off data and success they’ve had with it over a prolong decade period of time as compared to 5 weeks of a season. No I don’t think they go down with the ship. They are a proven franchise when it comes to renewing themselves which they’ve done time and again. You still seem stuck on the idea that I’m suggesting they abandon analytics. I’m not.

I’m not.No, what I am telling you is they view their approach because they have a larger sample size than 3 weeks that you’re complaining about. They’re gonna stick with what their approach is because for the last decade it has served them well. They’re not gonna be like we gotta change this or tweak this because 2 1/2 weeks hasn’t gone their away. That happened to the eagles in 2017 and 2024 it didn’t always go their way with the analytics. And you keep talking about they making tweaks when they have to. they’ve waited too long to sometimes make changes. You seem to forget that point when you bring this up. They sat there with Landon Dickerson for an entire year when he couldn’t play. It took him a year and a game to finally figure it out. So they’re not always very quick on making changes sometimes. So yeah, I tend to believe they probably aren’t gonna switch up or change or tweak what they believe is the best model. which has served them well and successful for a decade and not basing things off of 2 Fing weeks
