Will be the 1 week you think your defensive issues are sorted but the next week, some team is back to putting up 30+

Here’s the thing with this offense.

You are the OC and you get to take a pill that magically gives you years of nfl and play calling experience to mesh with your opinions and observations as a fan of this team.

What strengths are you playing to? What does this offense do well that your are going to emphasize? Where can we get mismatches on defense?

PS: Both these teams run game schemes would work amazing with what Stout likes to do

Agreed, but the problem is Baltimore actually has a GOOD O line

Simplifying the pass game right down to be exclusively either four verts or all hitches

DAL ain’t stopping anyone

That’s not a laugh at PHI, that’s exactly what it looks like, a weekly laugh at DAL by SAS.

Penix was a worse draft pick than JJ McCarthy

I'm not saying it was the right decision.

One of my issues with him, particularly in recent years, is he overcorrects to what happened in recent weeks rather than him or his staff correctly analysing each situation on its own merits

I would say he overcorrects, but I don’t think he has ever corrected or fixed their problems in the passing game. Hurts has also regressed as a passer since 2022. It’s why the passing game has gotten to this point.

My biggest problem and I’ve said this in the off-season and I said this last week, if the offense you want to run is a mcvey/lefleur/shanahan then you need to go and get a different quarterback and a different head coach. The quarterback doesn’t fit that system. The things it requires are all things hurts really not good at and hasn’t been in his career besides 2022. The head coach does not have a background in it and very limited so his hands are tied and basically relying on his OC and assistants.

Which all roads lead back to Lurie and howie, they were expecting a rookie OC to come in here implement the entirely new system and scheme in one off-season while also learning how to call plays with a downgraded offensive line coach and a bunch of coordinators that haven’t exactly killed it elsewhere. When you say those things out loud it makes sense why this was always destined to fail. Again if this is the offense you want to run, imo you have to have a HC with a background in it and a QB that’s fit for it. Meaning both sirianni and hurts need to go.

They will look like the 85 Bears against us.

You can’t be serious

Penix getting Hurts'd

McCarthy handed the ball off 30 times a game

It will truly be the stoppable force meets the moveable object. I don't have much confidence this team can keep up with the Dallas offense.

That was a terrible throw from Tua

oh my God - what was THAT ??

The Giants and Commanders tie today will either be the reason the Eagles win the division or the reason they miss the playoffs. It’s going to be decided by a 1/2 game now.

They couldn’t even stop a UDFA rookie in his first start that QB’d a winless team. DAL is next level bad.

Ravens scored 30 on the road with a backup QB. We can barely get 14 at home with a starting QB. I don’t want to hear the injury excuse. Good teams and well coached teams find a way to have a functional offense.

Don’t think it’ll matter in that regard it’s much more likely to matter with draft position. If this season goes south, Howie will sell so whatever Eagles team we have now will likely be even worse in the 2nd half of the year if things go in that direction. We could be minus Ojomo, Woolen, and some in a few weeks.

They traded for Jurgens cause they had issues at center. I wouldn’t say they are good. I’d also say they probably don’t have Kuper putz who was awful as an OL coach with the Vikings.

I’d point out Ledford was OL coach with Atlanta and run game coordinator the last two years. Same title with the ravens.

Well, in years past, a gut wrenching defeat would have ruined my day. Instead, I spent rhe day watching bikini clad mom's chase their kids around the pool at my niece's bday. Cooked a ribeye (burned one side in honor of Sirianni's poor clock managment) and enjoyed the hell out of my day with friends and family.

No matter how much we scream and shout, we have no control over what this team does or doesn't do. Enjoy your life friends because 2017 and 2024 lifted a huge weight off our shoulders. I get it we want more and have come to expect excellence but we went through many, many years of ineptitude to get here. We'll be back and you never know we might just hit paydirt again no matter how grim it looks.

😂 they won’t have to, Schotty will find a way to lose, even if DAL plays a good game (which I doubt) DAL ain’t beating PHI in PHI. Last two games have been rough for the birds at the end, they’re keeping themselves in games even with all the injuries.

Falcons had every defensive player in the draft still on the board and took an injury prone prospect who continues to be injury prone as an NFL player. Penix will never develop into a viable starting QB. Add on they had just signed a starting QB to a $100M contract a few weeks before that draft — it was an historically awful pick.

truth. I honestly thought I would never see one super bowl win in my lifetime, and now we have two.

Imo Declan Doyle is likely going to be at the top of their HC list if they fire sirianni. Granted he spurned them for OC so not sure he takes the job with the Qb situation and organization set up
