My recollection of US history class is different - but maybe because I grew up with parents that lived it - I always was more aware of what really happened - and maybe because that was true for most of my generation k-12 history was more of a soft sell on the subject. Comparatively - we were taught about manifest destiny but not about the near genocide that made it happen. We were taught about Indians taking scalps but not that they learned of taking scalp trophies from western invaders. Our history is terrible - and hidden from young students because they want us to grow up patriots - or so they say. But as a whole I'm glad the USA exists and that I live here and not anywhere else.

2017 Eagles won allocating the least amount of money to corner and one of the highest to safety.

I think the best value for corner will be in the 2nd and 3rd round.

But that does not mean that teams that DO allocate lots of resources to CB WON'T win a super bowl.

I think Evans is the only WR taken in the first round in the last ten years to win a SB.

The only things I see as consistent parts of the " super bowl formula" are QB play and pressure on the QB.

I have a son who is HS class of 2010. Recently we were having an education discussion and I mentioned that I always that the approach to teaching history was all wrong. I'll save the specifics of that discussion and skip to the part where he laughed at me - not because he didn't agree with me (though I can't say for sure whether he did or not) but because I apparently had no idea what was being taught in history class today. I was told that HS history has been reduced to studies of slavery and Ann Frank - I thought he was being overly simplistic - but now I'm not so sure. If true I would blame standardized testing - well I'll blame that even if it isn't true.

I don't think there is any difference in physical requirements anymore.

He was terrible at RT, but he really trained for LT, had no offseason and then was thrown in there. I wouldn't say there is no hope Stout gets this fixed.

Yup. I'm not a fan of WR at 12 either.

And yes I agree getting pressure on qb is key to winning and sadly this is draft is pretty low on Top End DL talent.

I like few guys but don't think they are worth pick 12.

Honestly I'd rather trade down again, I think there is more value at bottom half of first and 2nd round than top half of draft.

No difference in physical requirements but I'm pretty sure technique is different.
