Trump's documented family history of racist practices in New York would disagree with your assessment there but I digress.

Trump a truly independent😄

Trump was a puppet for the washington corporate elite, same as Reagan and all the rest since, reagan had better hair.

Get out of here with this trash that Trump is some savior of the working class people sent to washington to disinfect washington of it's corporatism and drain the swamp, that guy already exists and has been in washington for decades and both corporate parties hate him because he threatens their web of greed and corruption.

His name is Bernie Sanders.!

This is the point where you respond with some red scare comment😒

Don’t let this distract you from the fact that Howie is going to have his best draft ever in 3 weeks. We’re talking at least 3 pro-bowlers by year 2.

I turned 38 today and have lost 52lbs since February. I’m very rarely ever proud of myself, but I’m feeling pretty proud today and thought I’d share. Carry on.

  • At this point, I’d like to see a former HC on the staff, but the biggest coaching news left is whether Stout stays.  BOOOOOOOOM

You can thank the US  for all these terror groups popping up in foreign countries , we give them motivation , but all the killing we do , bombing their countries for no reason other than to benefit the US and big business , the propaganda here is no different than the propaganda in China or North Korea or Russia etc etc

Our government is no angel , and is as dirty as it gets

i can go on and on , with examples , but I would rather stick to football

Oh horse manure.  Most terrorist groups are focused on more local turmoil than us.

Both political parties are owned by coporations.

Bernie is an extremely weak pushover individual. Another career politician who has made himself very wealthy but accomplished nothing.

Trump did drain the swamp - and he replaced it with a cesspool.

Opinions may be arbitrary in the postmodern mind, but I disagree that it all is just a matter of vantage point.

There is right or wrong, better and worse despite the ever changing personal reality of individuals. If anything we should be even more inclined not to water down everything on the altar of misguided tolerance and fight for what took centuries to develop, and is in the great scheme of history working remarkably well. Looking away and saying: To each his own opinion is the worst mistake and playing in the hands of closed societies and populist a-holes all over the world.

The humanistic achievements of the western society are worth protecting from the disgusting ideas of the past. Not everything is equal nor deserves to be seen equal. Fighting wars to spread fascism is different and deserves to be seen for what it ultimately leads to: the despair of (not only) its people. Despite all the faults and errors, the way of living in the free west is superior and worth fighting for. It's hard to make a philosophical argument how one way of living is superior, but that doesn't mean that it isn't in comparison.

Isn't fascism a Western idea? For that matter so is colonialism, socialism, communism and Nazism.  Let's not pretend the West is some font of virtue of ideals. I mean we have a country that has constitutional protection of human rights where those rights were not protected for most of the country for the majority of the population during most of its history.  Values are values and not rooted in traditions as much as being able to divorce ourselves from views that dehumanize others.

Trump is the only leader in our country that has actually stood up to China. China's growing influence has been going on for decades.  Trump was the only one to actually stand up to them while the rest of our politicians and governments in the world lined their own pockets with money from China.

I'm someone who voted Democrat and independent my whole life prior to Trump.  He's the closest thing we have had to an independent president.  No one in the political class, Democrat and Republican, cares at all about the American people.

He told you he cared about you, but his actions proved otherwise.  All his tax policies benefited people like him, the top 5%.

Trump pandered to the deep seeded racist reaction of white America to a black president.

He did nothing but cost my industry money the last 4 years.  We had two supplier letters come out this week, that specifically stated, for the first time in a long time, due to policy change, we are not having material and surcharge increases this quarter, specifically mentioning how Trump policies drove these increases the last two years.

I don't want to get into this debate here and there's a whole forum for it called CVON.

The truth of the politics is deeper than that.  The world was experiencing a worldwide depression.  The truth was that the world was in a period of isolationism and nationalism (making the last decade something to consider) and a series of "neutrality” treaties that tried to reign in some of the weapon construction.  The perceived fear was socialism (old time, the state owns type) and communism. The fascist European regimes were vehement anti-communist/socialist.  The perception was that the war in Europe was not our problem was driven by our isolationist focus on our own woes.

Thanks for sharing this, good summary.

Utebird is probably accurate with Bernie Sanders being a true independent.

Standing up to China?  Without going into a rabbit hole, what did he establish by "standing up to China"?  What were these benefits that his standing up got us?

This discussion needs to go to another forum but I can't help but correct some of your misguided thinking. Trump did not stand up to China. What he did was use his real estate experience lens that is based on who has the most leverage in a transaction. He believed that the US did in terms of the market we represent to them. He was wrong. Chinese culture takes a much longer world view and historically has handled much more hardship than us. The result of his miscalculation was China establishing itself as a greater global power, shifting its procurement of resources to other countries and we have not considerably lessened our consumption or their goods. The main thing than happened is that part of the the Taiwan-based manufacturing companies moved out of China to different locations. If you know the history of the big manufacturing cities in China, a lot of it comes from Taiwan companies. At the current state of things, we lost and are losing in this relationship more than before TRUMP. In addition, disentangling our economies creates a greater chance of conflict between our countries. It removes the check of mutual economic damage. I interact quite a bit with folks from Taiwan and mainland China and this is the first time I have ever heard any of these folks ask me if I think there will be a war between China and the US. This is what TRUMP in his limited capacity to understand international dynamics accomplished. RTK, you need to educate yourself beyond the "he stood up to them" BS.

I voted for Obama both times.  My support for Trump had nothing to do with any racist reaction to a black president.

You want to look for politicians that depend on racial division to succeed then look at the modern left today.  It's all 100% about identity politics no matter what the issue.  Everything needs to be a matter of race and trying to create as much racial divide as possible purely for the sake of political gain.

Charles Barkley said it the best ecently.  Both parties really don't care about the people, they care about creating divide for their own gain.

But independent nevertheless.

His ideas are definitely extreme.

Can you cite a few instances where he was "pushed over"?  Love him, or hate him, he does stay consistent with his beliefs.

For me and my industry, continual price increases, surcharge increases, and surcharges on parts I have never seen in the 12 years I have been in this industry.

Is Darius Leonard pretty much a lock to get poached by the Eagles next offseason?

We were winning the trade the war with them, something no one thought would be possible of a country stood up to China.  No surprise that soon after the first part of the trade agreement was signed that a covid virus that they had been working with in a Wuhan lab had suddenly started to spread in Wuhan and then the rest of the world and now we have a president in office who is beholden to China.

It's a shame we didn't get a second term so that we could continue to stand up to the CCP.

I'd also rather government healthcare plans actually reimburse me when I spend half a day working on something, rather than stall through 3 months of denials and red tape to either get 20 cents on the dollar or give up.  I suppose I'd trade one cool air plane...maybe even 3...for both my wish and yours, but it's not always that straightforward.

So ignorant.

Time to stir up something not politics.  Let me try to offend somebody with something football related:

Trevor Lawrence is going to be a HUGE bust

Jim Johnson was overrated as a defensive coordinator

Donovan McNabb is the best QB in Eagle history
