I suppose so, but then again, I measure the success of a draft pick based on a team being willing and able to sign a player to a second contract.

Do some research...Smith was an amazing pick given the board.  I love it but you're so wrong on your recollection of things.  If Kolb wouldn't have made the dumbest decision I've ever seen as a QB ever, DJax wouldn't be regarded as injury prone.

It was like a hurricane at the stadium before the draft started. It actually helped me sneak into a nicer lounge area with a cooler and padded bar stools to sit and watch the draft, lol. 

Wish i could upload the video of the storm, was a sight to see in the bowl.

Why? It’s a totally different deal. Players switch teams over money all the time. The only position I think that holds weight is QB because when you hit on a QB they virtually always sign a second contract.

If they didn’t sign Fitzpatrick i would’ve said maybe if the raiders dealt for rodgers they’d get involved to get carr. Or maybe lock if Denver got rodgers. I just don’t think they would do it now. I think they draft someone like trask or mond in the next couple rounds
