Smith’s speed comes from his technique. He can run full speed with his head still tracking the ball. That’s why he runs by everyone. Same as Jerry. I don’t think people understand how important that is when tracking deep passes. Why pure speed guys don’t  translate.

Desean came in at 169 at his pro day. I don't think he has ever been over 175 which is what nfl.com lists him at.

If Isaiah Simmons turns it around and plays up to his potential.

He wasn't a top 10 pick because of his size...he showed people wrong for going with the status quo.  In a redraft you're taking DJax top 10 in that draft all day.

Caleb Farley to the Skins.  He's worth the risk for that defense.

Howie should have gone OL/DL and used that third and something else if needed to move back into the 1st

When have you seen a 6'+ WR under 170 lbs last in the NFL?   That's the concern.   Not about his current health, but his long term longevity.  

 

I'm not against the player, or the talent.  I am concerned about the long term with him.  I absolutely hope he proves me wrong 100%.   I am hopeful with this pick.  I would not have been hopeful with Paye.  So, I am not unhappy.  I am just not ecstatic.

So you’re saying we would’ve been trading with Chicago ? Howie panicked because either Smith would be there or da Bears, he flinched. He also overpaid to move up, the equivalent of an early 4th. He should of let it play out and either we end up with Slater or the 20th pick + the way I look at it. Dallas taking us to the cleaners and the Giants making bank ... SUX. Very disappointing
