I think the Raiders, as long as they are a Davis run franchise, are always going to have issues.  Mike Mayock would probably have better success under a different owner.

I suppose one could make a case that the Raiders have made some small incremental improvement over the past 2-3 seasons, but they’re in a very tough division.  KC is the best of the bunch, the Chargers are an ascending team, and DEN are getting very close — they just need an answer at QB

Totally disagree. He came back on an injured ankle for the end of a lousy season, then had surgery on it when season ended.

Bad season - yup. Didn’t care - nonsense.

He’s  still a solid player. Why give him away for a pick that probably won’t make team anyhow. He’s one of our 2 best tight ends and if he walks next year he’ll bring a comp pick that’ll be the equivalent of a trade.

What do you guys think of Tyree Jackson?  He's the TE we signed to a futures contract who is making switch from QB to TE.  He's 6 foot 7 and a little over 250 pounds.

He ran a 4.59 40 at the combine.  I looked at the last 3 combines and there was only like 7 or 8 guys (Tight Ends) who were faster and here are some of those names
