I'll be perfectly honest... even with all the insanity we've been going through, I don't know how I could deal with no football this fall.

I just can't imagine being OK with that.

To each their own. If it happens I'll watch and cheer, but if not I'll do something else. Many, many, things in my life that used to be super important to me are mostly meh anymore. Hunting (still do it), Fishing (still do it some), Lifting (very little), Basketball,Baseball, other sports (Football is the last one still alive). Family (especially grand kids) and some form of cardio is all I really care about now days

Hmm.  Feels like we've finally cut the cord.  Floating out in the ether. Anger at the faceless dismissal and marginalization of it's own fans by PE.com. But extreme gratitude for guys l

I mentioned this previously on this board, and in the past years ago on the other board.   I'm not sure Howie has ever come out and said it this plainly, but Howie is telling the truth here.

I just hope Biden picks a good VP.

Give me Abrams or Warren.

Abrams is not qualified, she has almost no real experience.

I can't see Biden and Warren working together, Warren would have to swallow her ego.

Susan Rice would be my choice, she'd bring serious foreign policy chops to the table.

Kamela Harris has similar experience to Warren in terms of the Senate, though I'm not really comfortable with her.

The governor of New Mexico, Grisham, might be a little early in her career, but she has 3 House terms and governor experience.

It will probably be Harris.

That's crap. If you struggle with stuttering, you're gonna come off as senile. Trump is more likely to be senile than Biden, obese, never exercises, awful diet - those are correlated with early dementia. Of course, he's so dumb it would be hard to tell (reads at a 6th grade level, they have to give him Powerpoints rather than briefing books).

My mother at 92 is probably a lot sharper than you are, she still teaches (now by Zoom) courses at a senior center on a wide range of topics, from politics to art history.

He isn't stuttering, he's saying stupid crap and forgetting stuff.

I know you just want to insult trump, and for some reason compare your mother's sharpness to me. Thats fine. May be true.  But, its not crap that Biden is senile. That is also true.

She is my choice as well.

Experience doesn’t matter nearly as much anymore. Look how far Pete went as a Presidential candidate. Look at our current President.

I wouldn’t mind Rice, I just wonder about the optics with the choice. He’s just trying to get all the Obama support. Whoever the pick is may be our President at some point, or our nominee in 4 years.

True? Did you test him? No? I didn’t think so.

I really only want 2 things out of all these political agendas.  Otherwise, I don’t care if you are right, left, or in between.

I don’t want the income tax to balloon into something offensively ridiculous and I don’t want a modified healthcare system to defund and asphyxiate my industry.

Other than that, I really don’t care who’s in office, who’s right, and who is wrong.  Despite these talks, I get tired of political discussion.

I think this is an argument for experience.

So is removing a President for senility easier or harder than impeachment?

Exactly.  Getting the right person is what's important.

This is why Abrams should not be counted out.  What's she's done in the state of Georgia is extremely impressive.  Just last night I read they have been able to get over 100k new voters, 2 new Senators.  Lot of good work.  And she's very smart.

I don’t think it’s lack of experience that’s hurting Trump, it’s the lack of other things. 😆

Who controls Congress? Cause that’s all that matters anymore. The right thing to do doesn’t matter, it’s all about whose team are you on.

Forget experience - that's an argument for competence.

Well, since impeachment is the only way to remove a President (not counting elections) ...

Great, so a person can be President and senile? Awesome, please hide "the button".

No, see Twenty-fifth Amendment.

Heh, Pence on TV flat out lying saying we've successfully flattened the curve, how we're doing everything correctly.

Then Birkes follows him and shows charts in which the curves are all continuing upward.

Then Fauci comes up talks about how we're facing a serious problem, how some states opened too early, and how people are not obeying the rules.

Smh...

Experience matters, as anyone who has worked for a living can attest.

"Been there, done that" makes a big difference.

Now at some point, additional experience adds limited value, but that's after decades, not years.

Kind of experience that helps a President, Legislative (understand what it takes to pass a law), Administrative (run a large organization like a major company, not a real estate holding company with a dozen employees, a state, etc.), Foreign Policy (know the names of African s**hole countries), Legal (administrative law would be invaluable).

Winning elections doesn't prepare you to govern.

Leadership

Guys... the experience doesn't matter as much anymore comment was obviously regarding getting in to office... it was not saying experience  doesn't matter in office.

Leadership

OH MY GOSH...a politician being a politician??? This is the groundbreaking news from the left now. Past that there isn't a leader in this world who knows exactly what to do with this thing because not even the doctors can agree. In the fact of that President Trump is leading us by trying to get our country back to normal to save the economy. I don't think people understand just how critical that is for the country.
